I cannot speak more highly of our host Christopher and this property. It was absolutely perfect for our family of 5 and could easily have accommodated a family of 7. The property was spacious, clean, presented to a high standard. The location was ideal being in a quaint area in walking distance of local amenities and 10 minutes drive from beautiful Bude with phenomenal beaches and coastal walks. I recommend this accommodation and host without reservation! Next time we visit Bude we will be booking here again!

Das cozy cottage ist eine perfekte Unterkunft für Familien. Alles war sehr sauber und es hat uns nichts gefehlt! Perfekte Lage für Ausflüge, sehr leckeres Essen im New Inn und sehr nette Gastgeber!!

Beautiful property

Chris phoned me as soon as I had booked to confirm the booking and again with the check in details. Really friendly and nothing too much trouble. The property is beautifully decorated and furnished with comfortable beds and a great shower and being next door to Chris’s pub which does lovely food is a big plus. There is a Co-op 2 minutes walk away and a very good Pizza take-away in the village.

Well located and well equipped

The house was spotless. Beds comfortable. Everything bang up to date. Shops and takeaways on the doorstep. Food in the owner's pub excellent.

Lovely holiday!

The cottage was much bigger than it looked in the pictures, everything was so clean and well looked after.The owners were very helpful and squeezed us into the pub for a meal a couple of Times when they were very busy. The cottage is around a 10 minute drive to Bude and the main beach. We would definitely stay here again if we visited Bude again.We had a lovely holiday.

Lovely stay at Cozy Cottage

Had a lovely week at cozy cottage next to the New Inn Kilkhampto NR Bude. Very well equipped spotless property with all that we needed for the week. Sleeps 7 across the 3 bedrooms. 1 double room, 1 twin room and 1 double with bunk bed above. Spacious lounge and dining room with TVs in each. Nicely laid out garden. Only issue was WiFi signal is weak as transmitted from the pub which was tricky with two teenagers and their phones but the added bonus of a PS4 kept most of those moans quieter. Would certainly stay again with me liking the ease of having the pub next door for a quick drink in the pub garden. Travel into the Bude beaches is 15 - 20 mins away. Large expanse of sand and good waves for surfing/body boarding. Village is well equipped with local shops, large Co op, chip shop, Chinese and a good pizza takeaway. Larger supermarkets in Bude. All in all had a great time across the week keeping the teenagers very happy and interested.

Lovely cottage in great location

Cosy Cottage was a real find. Clean, modern, well equipped and perfectly located. In a little village with plenty of facilities. A lovely pub on the doorstep (literally), Co-op, pizza takeaway, fish and chip shop, Spar all within a couple of minutes walk and everything North Cornwall and Devon has to offer within easy reach. Thank you Chris for your hospitality. We look forward to returning soon.

Lovely cottage, perfect host!

The cottage is perfectly situated just a 5 minute drive to Bude and beaches, stunning country walks and of course the delicious food at the New Inn where we were thoroughly spoilt by Christopher. The cottage itself has been beautifully done, is well stocked with all you will need, the rooms are very generous and the garden was a very welcome bonus after long days out. We all had such a wonderful time and will definitely look to return.

The cottage was just a described. Spacious and spotless clean with a nice enclosed garden. You do hear the traffic on the A 39 if you have the windows open at night but it only really noticeable on the Friday night. Christopher gave us useful information about local tea rooms. We enjoyed the camel trail cycle route. Tingatel and the local beaches. The Bude formation rocks along the coast are spectacular as is the coastal walk. Getting drinks from the New inn was an evening treat. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Wonderful Cottage

A lovely well equipped cottage in a good location. The host ran the pub next door which served really good food and he was on hand to answer any questions. There was two nearby supermarkets, fish and chips shop along with a butchers and pizza takeaway. They had a lovely well kept garden with garden table and chairs to use during the hot weather. You had everything you could wish for from a holiday rental and more. We would not hesitate to return to the property next time we are in the area.

Cosy Cottage

We spent 6 nights at Cosy Cottage, we have visited Cornwall many times over the years and this is the best holiday rental we have stayed in. The cottage is immaculate and has been refurbished to a such a high standard. It’s definitely a home from home. Chris the owner looked after us so well ! Great food at the New Inn next door.

Positiv: - geräumiges, schön eingerichtetes Cottage mit z. B. Echtholzmöbeln -große Terrasse mit gemütlichen Gartenmöbeln und einem Rasenstück -Supermarkt in 1 min Entfernung -Gute Betten mit Qualitätsmatratzen -Badezimmer mit ordentlicher Dusche und Badewanne und ein extra WC -Parkplätze am Haus -ausreichend Handtücher die allerdings allesamt fusselten und nicht saugfähig waren -große Kleiderschränke /Kommoden in den Schlafzimmern -in jedem Bett zwei Kopfkissen Nicht so positiv : -Sehr schlechtes WLAN, schlechte oder gar keine Verbindung die nach ca 20 min immer automatisch getrennt wurde. -die zwei Hauptschlafzimmer liegen zur einer Hauptverkehrsstraße mit sehr viel Verkehr, mit offenem Fenster schlafen ist also unmöglich. -die Küchenausstattung ist verbesserbar: Ordentliche Messer, Pfanne; sowie Topflappen, Salatschüssel, kleine Bretter, Sparschäler, Butterdose, Brotkorb, Tischdecke für draußen, Kuchengabeln und Geschirrhandtücher sowie Lappen fehlten.

Immaculate, clean, cosy, close to amenities. Made holidaying with small children very easy. Meals at the New Inn next door were fantastic. Yvonne and Chris were fantastic hosts, I would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect 😎

The property is fabulous. Spotlessly clean. Everything was high spec. It was much more spacious than we had expected too. It has a well appointed kitchen with everything we needed. Large dining room. Cozy lounge. Three spacious bedrooms, all with lovely furnishings and good quality furniture. And a very smart bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay. The weather was great and we were able to eat out in the garden each evening. Beautifully peaceful. Chris, the owner, recommended some places to visit including Clovelly which was just stunning. Highly recommend but do wear sturdy shoes and be prepared to give your legs a good work out!! Overall, a fab property. Loved it. Thanks Chris! 👍😊

Cosy Cottage - June 2019

If I could give more than five stars I would. We had a fantastic time and Cosy Cottage was sublime. A beautifully presented cottage with all the luxuries of home. Chris, Yvonne and Family made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. They really know how to look after holidaymakers!! We managed to explore most of North Cornwall and Devon and made lots of lasting memories. TIP. If you’re staying at Cosy Cottage you can also order and eat breakfast in the pub next door. It is delicious and good value for money.

Very comforatable and spacious property.

We had a relaxing stay at the Cottage, there were 5 of us in total my wife and I plus 3 kids and it felt surprisingly spacious inside. It is very well equipped and Christopher provided a warm welcome. The wood stove provided a warm and cosy retreat in one of the rooms. The is is co-op that stocks everything that you need just 50 yards away. The Cottage is adjacent to the pub but we did not get disturbed at all by this. The Cottage is ideally located for exploring the Devon and Cornwall North Coast, 10 mins drive from Bude. We also visited the Milky Way attraction which was a 15 min drive and despite it being cold and a bit wet had a fantastic time, I would thoroughly recommend it for younger children.

Lovely comfortable cottage, beautifully furnished with everything needed for our stay.

The property was only 5 miles to Bude where the rest of our family were staying so it suited us. I did not realise the cottage was on the main road which did not bother us during the day as we were out, and soon got used to the early morning Spar shop delivery. Plenty of parking for cars which made life easy. Lovely garden for children to play and ample garden furniture to enable us to eat out. Overall a very lovelyproperty.

Beautiful property ideal for a family holiday in Cornwall

We had a wonderful stay at Cozy Cottage in Kilkhampton. Immaculately clean with everything you need on holiday, the owner was very helpful and friendly giving good advice on where to visit and best beaches in the area. Would definately recommend and hopefully go back one day.
