Nature lovers paradise!

This cottage was everything we were looking for! We rented the boat house as well and it was ideal for our daughter and her fiancé. The cottage is private, bright, clean and perfect for enjoying the South Shore! Highlights were the bald eagles, seals, dolphins and the best views of the night skies. We loved our stay.

Family trip

This was our first family trip with our adult children. There was more than enough room for all 4 couples. The wifi was great and allowed the 2 who had to work stay connected. Good central location to explore the area on easy day trips. Huge deck with great seating to enjoy ocean views all day long! Super comfy beds!

Beautiful place

Loved this quiet and beautiful place. The view is magnificent. Close to Lunenberg, Mahone Bay and Peggy’s Cove. Would return for sure. Everything we needed was in this rental. About 59 minutes to Halifax. Great location

Reconnecting with family

Loved the location. There was lots to see and do. Everyone enjoyed watching the seals, bald eagles, king fishers and the elusive dolphins. We will be back.

Recent stay at East Chester

Our family re-united for a wonderful week at the East Chester cottage. The home was spacious and clean and easily accommodated our group. The deck overlooking the ocean offered outstanding views and lots of room for family to gather. It was great to have the boathouse as an extra space. We would definitely return to this property again.

Otter Point Vacation

Otter Point Property

The property was very well maintained, clean and had all that we needed. The only down side was no air conditioning as it was quite humid the week we were there and had a hard time escaping that. Over all a great property we would stay again.

Ideal spot

Great location on a quiet bay and central for exploring the South Shore. The home is well maintained and clean with comfortable beds and lots of space for a family get together. Wonderful place to relax.

A little piece of heaven

Three generations of adults and this house was perfect. Mom has issues with stairs so having a room on the first floor was a must. We stayed late June so weather was just starting to warm up but still a nice get away. Not that you ever need to leave as the view of the bay is beautiful but if you do your just over half hour car ride to most popular destinations. We had a few adventures to Peggy Cove, Halifax Harbour and a lovely day of golf at Bluenose in Luinenburg

Fabulous view, lovely cottage

The cottage was spacious and clean. We stayed for a week with our two adult children. The view from the front deck was fabulous from morning to night, especially for sunsets. There was a small rocky beach, but it wasn't easily accessible. It was a short 10-minute drive to Chester for groceries, and there was lots to see and do along the coast (Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove). We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, amazing property

The house is extremely comfortable, with all the amenities you need to make your stay enjoyable. Check-in was dead easy, the welcome book provided all the information you needed, the electric fireplace was a welcome offering on cool November days, and all the beds were very comfortable (queen bed on main level, king and 2 queens on 2nd level, king in bunkhouse). We celebrated our mom 80th birthday and our parents 59th wedding anniversary - a wonderful week we won’t soon forget.

Peaceful break.

Nice house for some rest and relaxation, house is not far from Chester, we found some great places to eat out. If you like to watch the birdlife by the sea this is a good place to do that.

Great family vacation spot

This property was perfect for our family of 6 adults and one teen. Our adult son fished off the dock for hours each day. We swam off the dock and rented kayaks for the week. The property was well laid out, plenty of room for us to spread out. Great location, close to nice beaches, restaurants and the towns of Chester, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg.

Perfect get away spot

Great spot. Beautiful view of the ocean and sunsets. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean is amazing. The three bedroom share a bathroom upstairs which worked out fine for our family.

The 3000 sq. ft., 4 bedroom home has generous principal rooms, wood burning fireplace, hardwood floors, exposed beams, wonderful seaside deck for entertaining, watching whales, otters, osprey, eagles; there is a private balcony from the upper bedrooms to star gaze, smell the scent of the sea roses and listen to the sounds of laughing loons.
