Excellent location. Lovely, cozy little house near theatres and shops, but in quieter section. Great for two; a bit tight for four. Sun porch is nice place to relax.

We love this house! It is the third time we've stayed and it never disappoints. The house is immaculate. The owners very responsive and friendly. We can walk everywhere in town so no need to wrestle with parking. We will stay again next year.

The Shaw Cottage was clean, cozy, and charming. Its location is perfect in relation to walking to the parks, the Shaw Festival Theatre, and Queen Street shopping and dining. (Wineries too are just a very short drive away.) Penny and Jeff were thoughtful and generous hosts, and my stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake was made even more special by their warm hospitality.

A Niagara on the lake gem!

The owners are wonderful! And the house is absolutely perfect for a getaway. The location can’t be better to access shops and restaurants.

Lovely and luxurious

We have stayed in dozens of vacation rentals and this one was the cleanest we have ever stayed in! Even the backyard furniture was spotless during pollen season. Also the beds really were the most comfy. Washing my face was like a trip to the spa, using the most luxurious face cloth I have ever experienced. Would not hesitate to stay here again, great hosts!

Lovely!

Beautiful, cozy place. Perfect for our anniversary weekend. The lake is visible/quite walkable from it and downtown NOTL just a couple short blocks walk away. The cottage had everything we needed and check in and check out were easy!

Cute cottage at a great location

2 nights spent a a very clean, quiet and comfortable cottage with a lovely garden and ample space in the private backyard to relax and enjoy the outdoors all within a short walking distance to the heart of the action "downtown".....parks, shopping, dining and the lake. Second stay

This was our second stay at the charming Shaw Cottage - we loved our stay so much the first time, we just had to return! The cottage is so warm and cozy, we didn’t want to leave! It is close by to all of what NOTL offers. Penny and Jeff are so friendly and accommodating. Thanks for having us and we hope to be back soon!

Lovely!

The weather didn't co-operate on our weekend, so we spent the majority of the time indoors at the cottage. Being so lovely and quaint, we truly enjoyed our quiet time in such a lovely, quaint, place. We will be back!

Rain or shine the "Shaw" cottage can up all your vitamin needs, an all purpose happy pill as a result of location, amenities, cleanliness but best of all hosts who work so diligently to provide such a great experience.

Great Cottage, Perfect Location!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Shaw cottage - a fun girl's weekend enjoying Niagara-on-the-Lake and the nearby wineries. The location of the cottage, to the lake and to the shops/restaurants on Queen Street can't be beat. Everything is just a short walk and there is so much to see. We would have loved to stay another day or two. The cottage is clean, bright, and well cared for. Penny was great, she met us at the house to show us around, answer any questions, and gave us some great tips of places to check out. We would stay again anytime!

Top marks

Very comfortable and convenient cottage just steps from the theatres and shops, but without the noise. The warm in-person welcome from our host was much appreciated. Messages during the week were responded to promptly. A special note to those like us who are allergy-prone: we had no issues during our visit to this extremely clean home.
