Overall, the property was as expected. My kids enjoyed the pool and the condo was clean and sufficient. However, what wasn't clear when I booked through VRBO is that this is actually a time share trying to get new clients. When I checked in, they then tried to convince me that I was expected to sit through a 90 minute time share presentation and, to do so, needed to put down a $40 deposit on the presentation. There was nothing about this in the description on VRBO or I would not have booked this property. We did, in the end, say no to the presentation, but they tried two more times and it got annoying. Additionally, they add on a lot of fees that are not originally listed. There was a $15 per day resort fee plus a mysterious $51 fee that ended up tacking on about $100 more than we expected. None of this was in their listing and I felt like they were taking advantage of VRBO clients. Overall, it added an anxiety to the trip that made it less than pleasurable.
