This was our second stay here at this magical cottage. The oceanfront location is amazing, the grounds are immaculate, the pool is refreshing, the proximity to Haleiwa and Wahiawa is so convenient. The peace and quiet is so relaxing. A touch of old Hawaii. Simply enchanting.

Beach at the doorstep

Whilst the property is aging a little, it is perfect for those who wish to get away to a peaceful and quiet location but still enjoy the sight and sounds of the ocean.The property has everything you need and we absolutely loved it!

Hawaiian Paradise

Beautiful location! Can't beat the view. Comfortable furnishings. Everything we needed was right there in the cottage. We loved being able to sit on the patio and just take in the sunrise and sunset and everything in between.

Stunning view, just ok cottage

Wonderful view of the ocean, but the unit itself is very outdated. The shower leaks all over the floor. The grounds are well kept, but again dates.

The location, the fragrances of the land, the view, the turtles….Heavenly stay

We’d return in a heart-beat! Loved the outdoor shower, the sound of the ocean hitting the seawall as we slept. So unreal. And we live on the water in California.

Spartan race weekend

Rented cottage as Spartan races were across highway. Cottage was perfect to relax at before and after each race and unwind as cottage is 10 meters from ocean

Nice ocean side cottage

We really enjoyed being where we could relax. The cottage and the surrounding area was perfect, getting us away from traffic but leaving us easy access to the things we wanted to do. We would definitely rent again if we make it back.

A hidden piece of paradise

This is a hidden gem in Mokeleia. The location is amazing. You are literally beachfront with the ocean crashing in front of your lanai. If you are looking for peace and quiet with an incredible view and the sound of waves, this is the place for you.

Wonderful view

All the amenities are provided. Gated community. No additional parking fees. Outdoor shower was a surprise. Geckos live behind the pictures on the walls.

Aloha!

The location is excellent. So much to see and do within a very short drive in any direction. About the only minor flaw is there isn't a sandy beach right in front of the house. The water is rough but it can still be swimmable. Plenty of turtles to see as well The house itself is very well stocked with all the necessary items for making dinner, sleeping, showering, etc. We were able to settle into a very normal, home like routine. The windows can be opened, the fans used and it's a fantastic way to sleep listening to the waves literally right outside the home. Highly recommend!

Cozy beach cottage

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I spent 1 week in the Sand Dollar Cottage with partner and kids. The cottage offered everything we needed; we enjoyed our dinners on the porch while watching the sunset and beaches and nature walks were in very close proximity. The interior is a little dated and there is no aircon.

Amazing!

Cottage was PERFECT! Location is great if you want a peaceful vacation. 10-15 minute drive into Haleiwa. The pool was a nice change from the ocean, everyone on the property was kind. Very low key. You are literally ON the water, at low tide you can walk the beach right out front. We would go down the steps and walk a few minutes to the left where the water was clear and swim. Lots of turtles right outside. Beach chairs & the bbq were used often! We will definitely come back to this location!!

The property is well maintained, the landscaping is gorgeous and it is very quiet and peaceful. Sand Dollar Cottage is located directly oceanfront. The cottage itself is very simple and clean. The view from your lanai, the stars at night and the sound of the ocean is magnificent. We've stayed here 5 times and can't wait to come back!

Five star location with Two star accommodations

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental management company was very helpful and courteous. I called a couple times with questions and Anna got right back to me. The Sand Dollar was located in a very quiet, well kept residential complex. The view out the kitchen door was absolutely fantastic! The apartment itself was VERY dated, had rusty kitchen appliances, and broken inside louvered shutters(not what we were expecting for the location).
