Nice house and property

I have had the greatest stay at this property. Very clean and close to everything like restaurants, entertainment, and the highway. I will be booking again when visiting family in Ashland.

Fall in Ashland

Spent a month at this property. It’s in a wonderful location. It was easy to communicate with the property manager. I would definitely stay here again.

Ashland hiking and gangaji

We took a trip to crater lake, enjoyed a couple hikes in lothia park, absolutely loved the food coop, and a special tea place and finished with four days of a Gangaji retreat. We will definitely be back!! The house was beautiful and perfect for us! The view from the kitchen was beautiful of the mountains and the location perfect for our walks to shops, hiking, Gangaji and food. Thank you for your beautiful home we will definitely stay in this house again next time.

Nice Place

A well appointed accommodation, located centrally to most all Ashland has to offer. If you plan on making much use of the kitchen, l might consider arriving with spices, etc., required for meal prep; this spot is conveniently close to Safeway grocery, too. Not much of a technobot; so, had to feel my way through television/streaming setup. Appreciated the availability of washer/dryer. Even the Alley fence was charming.

Ideal stay

Loved the downtown location and walking around the neighborhood. The house had everything we needed: very comfortable, updated and immaculate. We’ll be back!!

Cozy and close to theaters

Everything it said it was. Small but very clean and comfy. Very close to theaters (important for us). Would definitely book this again and we come to Ashland at least twice per year and have been doing so for 20 years. Great for a couple, or even 2 couples.

Cozy cottage great location

We loved out stay and will definitely come again. The cottage was perfect for four people (my, my husband, my daughter and her best friend). Close to downtown, to theaters, to grocery stores and eateries. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, bathroom is spacious and has a triple option shower, parking in the back. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the mornings, enjoying coffee and reading a book. Every house should have a front porch like that. Thank you to the host for thinking of so many little details!

Just right, thoughtful touches!

Charley's Place was just right for our 3-night get-away for 2 couples. There was plenty of space for us to cook, eat, watch a movie and play games. Outside temps were high, but the AC kept us cool inside. We had a car, but were able to walk to the theater, shops and grocery store. Thoughtful touches included a basket of snacks, bottle of wine and recommendations for local restaurants and attractions.

A perfect home base

We planned our vacation to the Northwest for over a year. With our Southern Oregon families living in Talent, Central Point and Ashland, we looked online at many B+Bs in and around those towns. We selected Charley’s Place and it was the perfect home base for our week in the Rogue River Valley…a well-appointed home, minutes from the Shakespeare Festival and unique shopping/restaurants, and an owner who was very helpful.

Wonderful property in great location

Me and my friend absolutely loved this place! Clean, well stocked and situated close to everything so it was an easy walk to downtown Ashland. Appreciated the snacks upon check in. Lovely decor and we both appreciated the clean and organized space. Had a variety of appliances (coffee maker -pods with a nice selection, tea kettle, and cups/ plates, utensils, and everything you might need for your stay). We used washer/dryer at end of stay, which had fast cycle. Nice to have walk-in closets in both bedrooms, and comfortable beds. I loved sitting on the porch in the morning while it was quiet. We saw a deer on side of house at dusk one day. We were close enough to walk to coffee/breakfast—visited Rogue Valley Roasters and Hither. Then able to walk easily to OSF, bakery, shopping. Also tried many wonderful restaurants and tea shops like Dobra and Lovey’s. Always catch the Farmer’s Market and checked out the Artisan’s Market along Guanajuato. We are close enough for short drives to surrounding cities like Talent, Medford and Jacksonville. My sister and her son stopped in from their nearby rental and commented what a beautiful, spacious place it was. A lot of space to enjoy music, read, talk to people. Fast internet, available board games and comfy sofa/seating. Helpful to have parking in rear that was able to accommodate large/wide vehicles. Would come back and rent Charley’s Place again for sure!

Relaxing

This cute house was the perfect location for us. We could take the short walk to the theaters thru the downtown to stop at shop or thru a neighborhood. It was in walking distance of North Mountain Park where we like to go. Bedrooms and living room are comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious. Kitchen was well stocked and great place for enjoying a meal. Neighborhood was very quiet. Hosts are very welcoming.

Fabulous place and amazing TLC

The house is lovely, very well located and incredibly carefully and lovingly furnished. The welcome basket, wine and even a gift card were all lovely surprises. The obvious care that goes into the property jumps out at once. We've stayed in many places in Ashland; thisis the first that we definitely want to return to.

Great location and an easy walk to O SF and downtown. The two bedrooms can accommodate 4 people.

Clean, elegant, comfortable.

Very elegant 2 bed/1 bath rental in a friendly vintage neighborhood. The interior is immaculate and inviting; it feels like an upscale hotel suite. The location is within easy walking distance of downtown Ashland. The beds are soft, the shower is luxurious, and the espresso machine works perfectly.

Fantastic Property!

This is a beautiful little home in Ashland. It was perfect for our stay to see the plays and eat in some fabulous restaurants. The shower in this home is amazing. Everything was very clean, organized, and comfortable. We'll book again for our next trip up north. PS: One afternoon, we had a family of five deer in the yard. You don't get that at the Marriott!

Lovely comfortable cottage in Ashland

Beautiful place to rest between plays. Easy walk to theaters, restaurants and shops. Nice kitchen and bathroom. I loved doing yoga in the morning on the covered porch.

My son and I recently purchased this property because we really enjoy Ashland. We were looking for a place where we could walk to town and all that it has to offer. Once we saw this little place we just loved it! It's just beautifully done...we hate leaving! The outside looks like many of the other historical homes in this area, but once we walked in we just felt happy and so enjoyed the beautiful interior. An added bonus are the deer that seem to keep the lawn mowed!

We live in Medford, so can be easily available, but come to Ashland often as there is so much to do in this small town.
