Good location, property requires investment

Overall a pleasant stay in a large clean & spacious apartment close to beach, nice sea views. Convenient for town, bars & restaurants.The building, Torre Rocha is dated & apartment is basic but functional. The side window in main bedroom opens however is very low down & may present a safety hazard when open.We had some issues with the electrics tripping out when using 2 rings on hob. Apartment electrical circuit is weak so if you're cooking meals, you have to do it in stages or you'll keep tripping electrics.No fan/s provided & daily temp for stay was well in excess of 30 & often around 25 during the night. A strange omission when fans are relatively inexpensive & apartment has no air-con.Water temp is far too hot and can scold if lever in shower is accidentally moved (easily done!)Although not expected, would be nice if the hosts left some basics for next guests, washing up liquid, salt, pepper, cooking oil etc We stay at lots of rental apartments & it is unusual for there to be nothing. No tea towels, dish cloths available or hand soap to wash hands after going to the toilet on arrival.To be balanced, we had an enjoyable stay. Apartment rep Daniel was excellent & quick at getting back to address concerns, nothing being too much trouble. We didn't want to spend our week here complaining about issues referenced above, however important to be honest of our experience.Pool in complex was excellent.Listing photos didn't do this justice.This apartment could be wonderful

million dollar view

The view from the front balcony can't be beat as the view from the bedroom. The location shares the same distinction. The sectional sofa in the living/kitchen is not the same one in the picture but It was fairly new and quite comfortable. The kitchen is small but had lots of pot/pans dishes. Cutlery was a bit unimpressive but there was plenty of it. Daniel and his wife did bring some wine glasses which was nice and some other kitchen items that were needed. On our arrival the weather was somewhat cold. The condos in this building were not constructed with any heating apparatus, therefore we wore sweaters and jackets in the condo for the first few days, until Daniel brought an additional portable heating unit which helped. The weather improved after a few days and the apartment atmosphere got more comfortable and much more enjoyable as obviously these units are build for summer occupation in mind. All in all, once the weather got warmer which took care of the cold problem, we started to really enjoyed the unit, the beaches , the numerous restaurants, bars,( the holiday inn across the street has happy hour from 6:00 to 8:00 every night..) the people of Portugal. and all it's beauty. I might suggest the bed in the main bedroom could be more of a hotel style queen size instead of a double bargain type. Daniel and his wife are very nice and did their best to make us feel comfortable . We are both world travelers and know things are not like home, but cold in the house is cold. Value for the money is a good way to describe the unit. We could possibly stay there again now we know what to expect and hope for warm weather

Férias muito agradáveis

A localização é mesmo muito boa! Em frente à praia e com acesso à piscina. O apartamento é muito agradável e estava tudo muito limpo e arrumado. O único defeito que todos nós consideramos relevante foi o facto da falta de energia. Para fazermos refeições em casa, o fogão só aguentava com 1 ou 2 bocas ligadas (dependendo da potência da boca) e mesmo assim ainda tínhamos de desligar o exaustor e TV e por vezes o frigorifico. Ou seja, uma refeição que demore 30 minutos a preparar, nós demorávamos 1h30m. De qualquer forma, quem nos alugou o apartamento disse que iriam ter isso em atenção e corrigir esta situação desagradável. Com a exceção desta situação e caso corrijam a mesma, recomendo o apartamento!

Endroit merveilleux

Séjour impeccable La vue de l’appartement sur l’ensemble de la mer est fabuleuse, tant les couchers de soleil que les levers. Tout est accessible à pied, et très simple.

Muito boa experiência.

Um apartamento com o básico mas o necessário para férias de praia sem preocupações. Prédio seguro, com porteira durante o dia. Excelente vista mar e localização. Férias sem pegar no carro para nada! O Host (Daniel Cruz) muito simpático e atencioso.
