Floor was filthy. Oven didn’t work. Picture fell off wall. Bed was small and it needs better pillows. The place is in fair condition but really needs to be upgraded. The water pressure in shower was so low you can hardly rinse off. Good location but a little noisy from street traffic. Parking was a challenge the garage was very small and the door had no handle to lift open.

Love the location; right between the beach and the harbor. The parking was very busy and unavailable. The bed was too small and uncomfortable. The bathroom was overall clean but the shower floor was filthy. Enjoyed the bidet and heated toilet seat. Clean Kitchen.

Wonderful beach home

We so enjoyed our stay here. The home is adorable and has everything we need. We loved the location being one block from the ocean on one side and one block from the harbor on the other side.

Close to beach!

Unit was on the Main Street so lots of traffic noise but very close to the beach! FYI - you need to wash your own dishes and take out your trash or you will incur an extra charge!

Fun Get way

The property was what I expected from the listing and the reviews. We were very comfortable with our surroundings. Parking was great. We were close to the places we wanted to explore. It really is located well. My one comment is: The outdoor furniture is not in good condition. It was not clean. My suggestion is to replace it and ask the cleaning crew to spruce it up after each cleaning.

Cute Place Great Location to everything we wanted to do.

The unit was centrally located a block off the beach. Walking distance to everything. Had everything we needed for a long weekend. Well-appointed unit. Only bummer was you are right on a very busy street and on weekdays the traffic is very loud early in the morning. The weekends are less loud in the AM. Makes sleeping late hard to do. Nothing the owner can do about it but feel it is something to be aware of.

Short birthday getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in the Newport/Balboa peninsula area. The 1-bedroom apartment was a mere seconds walk to the sands of the beach. It was obvious that the elderly property was mostly renovated and updated with excellent taste: kitchen, cabinets, countertops, appliances, bidet toilet, lights w/dimmers, windows and keypad door locks were all very nice and in excellent condition. Nothing but praise for this well thought out and clean property. It was perfect for two people. If we were "forced' to give a critique, it would be for a minimum 11am check out, (10am feels a little rushed) the shower pan to be updated, and some kind of lock system put on the assigned garage parking. (We found items -several bikes) in the garage that prevented us from parking. (we have a small sports car) We weren't sure whose property they were, so we didn't remove. When we checked the next morning, they were moved...? Nothing but praise for the owners, the property unit renovations and communication were great. Well done. LIke I said, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend for a couples get away. Thank you! R&R

Amazing location and great value

We stayed for two weeks while visiting family in the area. It was a great time. The weather was beautiful and the location of this condo can't be beat - right on the peninsula. The condo itself was small but it was all we needed. Nice walk in closet space to store everything out of the way as well as garage access during our stay (although the garage is tight and is not locked so no valuables were stored there). The kitchen was okay - I'm an avid cook and we planned to do a fair amount of dining in while we were there since it was such a long trip - but the kitchen lacked many basic items if you're really looking to do anything significant (can opener was broken, no whisks, no measuring cups or spoons, no sheetpans, no baking dishes). But it did have all major appliances and small kitchen appliances that one would need so we got by. Also, dining out in the area can't be beat - that's really what you should plan for when your here. We are planning another stay here for sure!

Great Place

I rented this apartment for my daughter and I and we absolutely loved it! The location was perfect and I never had a problem with parking. The management company always responded quickly to my questions and were very helpful in providing answers and feedback. We had such a great trip that my daughter and I would like to make this an annual trip for us and hope to be able to rent this place again!

Amazing location

This little condo is located on the peninsula in my favorite area. Perfectly placed between both piers made walking anywhere easy. We hardly moved our car!! I was quite worried about street parking, but as long as you pay attention to the street cleaning signs, you’ll be fine! We were there during the week and never had a problem finding a free spot. One block off the bay and beach! Really awesome and would most definitely rent out this condo again.

Awesome access

Loved the time we were there. The rental agreement said check in at 3:00, but it was actually 4:00. Then the rental agreement said check out was 11:00, but it is actually 10:00. Parking is kind of a mess especially on Monday and Tuesday due to street sweeping. All in all we love the stay. Way better than a Hotel where you have to pay parking for each night.
