Pet friendly! Waterfront!! Beautiful, family fun, romantic cabin just right for Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter getaways. Beautiful waterfront view. Can't you imagine relaxing by the lake on a warm summer's day? Or sitting under the shaded oaks by the lake while you read or just relax? Then the Sunset Cabin is just what you're looking for. This quaint and beautiful 1400 sq. ft. 2 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin is located on Lake Murray in Leesville, SC. There's also a loft for added accommodations sleeps 5-6 in loft. Only 30 minutes from Columbia Airport, it is convenient to both Columbia, SC and Augusta, GA. And the Augusta National! It would make the perfect getaway for Spring Break, a Holiday , a honeymoon or a family vacation. 6 Kayaks included. Great dock & gazebo. Plenty of room to dock your personal boat at the Cabin. One block to a boat landing. A wonderful place to Vacation! Fire pit for cool night fire. 🔥 s'mores anyone? Rent a pontoon just around the corner from the cabin. The sunsets are phenomenal. Free WIFI.

Beautiful location

This cottage on Lake Murray was a nice place for a getaway. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to return in the future.

Perfect Getaway!

Sunset Cabin was the perfect quick getaway from the real world. The cabin was cozy, comfortable and calming. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and sitting by the fire in the crisp autumn air. Kathy was always available to answer any questions or give advice on local restaurants. Thank you, Kathy, for that. Being able to stay an extra day was an added bonus. We enjoyed it thoroughly! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Needs A Really Good Cleaning...

Kathy was ON THE BALL as far as communication is concerned. Check in is easy and she answered every question that we had promptly. The location was great for where we needed to be as well as easy to get to. The property could use a good cleaning and it would have been a much more enjoyable stay. Inside and out needs a good pressure washing, there are cobwebs inside the cabin. The home doesn't look like it gets enough use so it is a bit neglected. We went to use the kayak and had to remove a nest of baby snakes from inside. If the home had more use ~ It would be an enjoyable place to stay. We must have been the first ones to stay in a while. Don't mark this home off your list, just ask if they have been able to pressure wash outside and a deep cleaning inside before you book it.

Great Place!

This is the most adorable cabin on the lake! Our family loved staying here! The cabin was very comfortable with all amenities. We had plenty of space, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, nice dock and wonderful views of the lake. The boat launch was around the corner at a marina with boat rentals available. We had a fun time and our teens are asking to go back! We hope to do it again soon!

Gordon & Kathy Leopard -Owners. We are from the Aiken SC area. We enjoy the cabin & the lake so much. We are semi-retired and come up as often as possible. We hope you will enjoy your stay here also. Our 6 granddaughters love the lakehouse. So much fun!

This is a warm log cabin with beautiful sunsets. Waterfront & dock swimming & fishing. It's perfect for 3 couples or a small family retreat. Very romantic setting. Great for kids. We have enjoyed it so much with our family & friends.

The views from the upstairs & downstairs porches are magnificent. Porches are shaded and we use them in the spring, summer & fall. We have a cozy wood burning stove that is so nice during the fall & winter. The family table seats 8. Also a table for 4 on adjoining porch. Nice walking area around Landford Circle. Fire pit with 4 adirondack style chairs. Gazebo has nice benches to enjoy the sunsets or fishing or coffee in the morning.
