Very nice home & neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful & the kitchen provided all the necessities needed to prepare a meal. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home!

Pleasant stay

This is our third time staying here and it was pleasant as always. Phil is very accommodating and it is easy to reach him. The home is in a great central location of Willow Glen.

A lovely stay with our grandchildren in a vibrant will Glen neighborhood

Very warm and accommodating. We loved walking in the historic neighborhood and especially enjoyed walking on Lincoln Street with all of its shops and wide variety of restaurants. We ate there twice.

Great location and nice house

We loved our stay! Nice and quiet neighborhood, house is clean, well equipped and has everything we needed during the stay. Phillip was very helpful and answered all my questions. Highly recommended!

Close proximity to Downtown Willow Glen

Nice, Clean and Quiet! We enjoyed walking to various restaurants and the Creamery! We also enjoyed hanging out in the backyard and BBQing. We will definitely book this one again!

Wonderful Place to Stay

I'm so happy I came across this home. We had a wonderful stay here. It's in an excellent part of town; within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The home itself was perfect for our family of 3, we have a toddler. Everything you could possibly need is in the home. In the evenings after we put our toddler down we enjoyed a bath in the Jacuzzi tub. We can't wait to stay here again!

Perfect location!

There are so many great things about this place, too many to note! Perfect location for accessing the trendy downtown (fab restaurants, Italian deli, Susie’s Cakes!) and easy drive to top notch shopping (Santana Row/Westfield Mall), movies... We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, the owner is responsive to questions/needs, the home is clean and well appointed. We felt at home as soon as we opened the front door. Looking forward to coming back!

A trip back in time

Walking in this lovely historic neighborhood is truly a trip back in time. We found cement markers from June of 1937 and up. We discovered a charming storefront on Cherry avenue and loved walking under the canopies of ginkgo, sycamore, and camphor trees. We had lunch and dinner on Lincoln avenue which is only a couple of blocks away. Sitting out in the back patio on the Adirondack chairs was so relaxing as the hummingbirds buzzed in and out of the blooming trees and flowers. Wonderful accommodations in a lovely historic area.

Excellent stay!

The house felt bigger than expected and had great amenities. The owner was very communicative ahead ot time to make sure the rooms were set up as we needed. The bed was on the firm side, which was not my husband's or my preference, but the home overall was excellently comfortable and fit our needs well. The kitchen was beautiful, the dishwasher and laundry were great. One issue was that the jetted tub needed cleaning; when we emailed the owner, he was quick to respond that he would address it promptly after we left (we were only there one more night), so we were happy with his responsiveness. The neighbors were also very kind, and the location was great (short walk to Philz Coffee and lots of other restaurants)!

Horrible communication with host.

Requested reservation in Oct 2023 y was charged for stay, then in Jan 2024 was told we didn’t have reservation! Still waiting for refund!

Beautiful home in charming Willow Glen

We were very lucky to spend one week in this beautiful house while undergoing remodel work on our home nearby in Campbell. What a charming, immaculate home in such a lovely, peaceful neighborhood! From the moment I walked in I knew I’d be sad to leave, and I sure was! Gorgeous hardwood floors, interesting and quaint historic architectural details throughout the home blended with modern conveniences, and attention to details in every room that make it apparent that this is a family home, not just a vacation rental. I was fortunate to be able to work from home most of the week, and I was very comfortable on my laptop in the spacious home office, enjoying the good WiFi and gazing out of the window at the lemon tree in the side yard. We also just loved being only a block from downtown Willow Glen, one of the best areas in San Jose. We had takeout from Taiwan restaurant and the iconic La Villa Italian Delicatessen, and brunch at Bill’s Cafe. We even had a family candle-making morning at Glow Candle Lounge on Lincoln Ave, which was so much fun. The owner of the property is so nice and easy to work with, which makes all the difference. We really felt at home here. If you’re looking for a wonderful place to stay in San Jose, rent this place. You won’t regret it!

Wonderful stay

This was my family’s second time staying here. Like the first time it was a wonderful stay in an excellent home that had everything we needed and more. Great neighborhood and generosity from the property manager to help accommodate our stay with two little kids. We plan to hopefully use this same home next time we come to this area.

Lovely stay in Willow Glen

We came back to the Bay Area to visit family and attend a friend's wedding; we really lucked out to find such a nice home to stay at for a few weeks in Willow Glen. It is spacious, clean, and is not lacking anything. We were grateful that we could prepare home cooked Persian meals in their Chef's kitchen. The owner was also very kind to provide his grandchildren's toys for our kids to play with. It had them very entertained. Both beds are comfortable to sleep on (Tempur-pedic/ memory foam). We brought our own contour pillows from home. We love the neighborhood and were pleased that the house was in the heart of Willow Glen. There were so many places to walk to and eat, just minutes away. We booked two trips here and feel we've lucked out. We look forward to our stay in November to attend another wedding and hopefully again in the future.

Beautiful home, great location

My adult daughter, her bestie and I enjoyed having the Willow Glen house as our home base during our visit for our college reunions at SCU. Very nice home, beautiful updates and comfortable beds. And you can't beat the location! Just a block away from so much dining & shopping in the heart of Willow Glen. Philip is a great host and provides plenty of info about the property and the area. I hope this property is available again when I come back for the next reunion.

Willow Glen

Great house with a beautiful yard. It was fine for two of us even though it was larger than we needed. I do not recommend it for more than two people. The second bedroom only has a folding couch and not a real bed. I would find that unacceptable if I were renting the home with friends.

The second bedroom was not made up with the Queen Size Bed. Jan and her Husband said they only needed one bedroom. When the Guests only need one bedroom the second bedroom is made up as a Den.

San Jose Family Visit

Visiting our daughter and family in San Jose. Can't say enough about the property and Phil, the owner. Great location in the Willow Glen neighborhood. Walkable to a number of shops and restaurants. And the house is just great, everything needed was there! Would stay there again in a heartbeat on our next visit!

Very nice place conveniently located near downtown Willow Glen

Clean, spacious, great host bennies (lots of condiments, TP, paper towels, etc. with his go ahead to use them), big gazebo, nicely updated period home. The grill has major hot spots - watch out!

This is a unique area of San Jose. It is close to downtown, but is a separate community with its own local character. Lincoln Ave is the main street. It has many restaurants, sports bars, coffee shops and boutique stores. My house is easy walking distance to Lincoln Ave.
