This flat is in an ideal location, with fantastic restaurants around the corner and quaint shopping just blocks away. The South Kensington tube station is an easy, less than 5 mn walk, and bus stops are even closer. We are a family of 5: 2 adults, two adult-size teens (17 and 19), and a 13 year old. We are not large people, but sleeping was a little tight with two sharing a queen, two sharing a double, and one on the pull out couch downstairs. (It would be ideal if the owners forwent an extra nightstand and replaced the double bed in the front bedroom with a queen.) Other than that, the flat was comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated the move in snacks and bread. The neighborhood is safe and very quiet at night. There was no hot water on the first morning, but after realizing the hot water was on a timer (in the downstairs closet) we adjusted it and had no further issues.
The clothes dryer broke during our stay. We had some clunky, back and forth conversations with the owner and his son on whether it was truly broken. However, after it was determined the appliance was definitely broken, the owner had a brand new replacement installed the next day, which was very much appreciated.
We had a wonderful trip to London and would definitely recommend this flat to others.
