Wonderful stay with an amazing view

We had a wonderful stay in this very nice villa with a great outdoor area and pool and an amazing view that you couldn't get enough of. Teo and Antonija were wonderful hosts, gave us helpful tips for trips, restaurants etc. were always helpful and communicative even prior to our arrival. We really enjoyed our days here and unfortunately the week passed by so fast.

Wonderful Villa and excellent hosts.

The villa is absolutely beautiful. The pool is very clean, gardens are beautiful and the views across the bay spectacular. Our hosts (Teo and Antonia) were super helpful. Welcome package included a beautiful board of local delicacies and all of the staples that we needed to get us through the first few days. The villa is very private and a wonderful place to chill out. Highly recommend this property and I hope that we will return in the near future.

Perfect vacation

Antonja & Teo were very friendly and greeted us with superb ham & salami plate when we arrived. The house is little bit hidden in the upper area of Kastel Kambelovac in the mountains. There are no neighbours, which is perfect because we liked to put loud music in the evening. The house is very pretty and has everything you need during a vacation. The equipment is top! Even a smoothie maker is available. The rooms were cleaned up and there was nothing to moan about. We had a really nice week and we would come back for sure!

Incredible Stay, amazing Hosts!

We had an amazing stay. The villa has everything you need. Air con was a god send. The pool is very clean and the views spectacular. The hosts were amazing and even prepared some food for us as we arrived late at 10pm. We made use of the BBQ and they had even supplied fire lighters. Our hosts also sent us some recommendations for food and shops. A* holiday. We used a car and was easy to get to the national parks (50min drive), Trogir (20min drive), and Split (22min drive). We also took lots of Ubers which are about €12-18 each way to Split. Highly recommend

The house is located between 2 overhead power lines

The house, the pool and the view are very nice as seen in the pictures. However, 10m south and 30m north of the house runs in each case an overhead power line. We are sensitive to electromagnetic radiation and therefore slept very badly, which is why we broke off the stay early. Fortunately, we quickly found an alternative, because Split and the area are really worth a trip.

A stay that leaves nothing to be desired

The cottage looks just like the pictures! The approach through the narrow streets was exciting but since the house is very quiet located and there was no counter traffic. We had an incredible welcome by Teo and Antonija. They briefly introduced us to the house and the stores and restaurants in the area. To welcome us there was a bowl of fruit, a plate with salami, ham and cheese and fresh bread. In the fridge there was chilled water, beer and red wine. We enjoyed jumping in the beautiful pool in the morning and spending the evenings outside. Teo and Antojia were always on hand when needed and were always super friendly and helpful. For watering flowers and cleaning the pool there was always a short request if it was convenient for us. In short: we had a wonderful and very relaxing vacation.

Beautiful Villa close to the Adriatic sea

This villa is really one of a kind. Beautiful building in a nice quiet location surrounded by nature and wonderful views of the surrounding coast. There is a wonderful restaurant nearby and whilst it in in a rural location some big supermarkets like Lidl are only a 5 minute drive away. The drive from the airport was extremely easy as I was completely new to driving in a new country. The pool is absolutely fantastic and the house comes with everything you could ever need. The house itself is spotless and very well looked after. Very clean. We were greated on arrival by Teo and his lovely family. They also left us more than necessary in the form of a massive platter of cheese and prosciutto, along with some beers, wine and bread and milk, amongst others. We had a fantastic time on our honeymoon and would highly recommend this accommodation to others. Please also ignore the review that was clearly left by two morons regarding the power lines, these effect the house in absolutely no way whatsoever. Split and Trogir are about 10-15 minutes drive either direction with easy access to the motorway, making travelling during the day very easy. I have recommended this villa to my parents and I think they will be going too !! Top Class holiday. Thank you

We could have stayed there forever!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous villa. The views are breathtaking and pool deck/swimming pool are huge. We were dismayed to read the review which mentioned the power line and feel we should set the record straight. There is a power line but it is not located too close to the villa (probably more like 1/4 mile away) and does not in anyway detract from the fabulous view of the sea and the neighbouring islands. Antonia and Teo have thought of everything and even the sun loungers are luxuriously comfortable. They are so kind and thoughtful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The villa is extremely comfortable and is equipped with everything (and more) that you could possibly need for your stay. It was such a lovely surprise to find a generously well stocked fridge complete with meat/cheese platter which enabled us to relax on our first evening and the following day without having to rush out to a supermarket for supplies. The location is perfect just a short drive to the beautiful Split and Trogir where we spent most evenings. The local town is also lovely and great for a quick meal and also has all the amenities you could want such as supermarket, bakery, takeaways etc. We had a wonderful week at Villa Vortex and if we return to this area we would stay here again in a heartbeat. We send our very best wishes to our wonderful hosts.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit fantastischer Aussicht!

Wir haben unseren Urlaub zu fünft verbracht: 2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder (12, 12, 9 Jahre alt). Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war sehr gut. Vor der Anreise und während des Urlaubs wurden alle Fragen sehr schnell beantwortet. Per Nachricht oder Telefonat. Zusätzlich haben wir wertvolle Tipps für Restaurants und Supermärkte bekommen. Die Unterkunft erfüllt in unseren Augen zu 100% die Beschreibung. Der Außenbereich ist sehr geräumig mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die geräumige Sitzecke mit Grill wurde gerne genutzt. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse auf das Meer ist phänomenal. Im Innenbereich ist alles geräumig, die Küche hat alle notwendigen Utensilien. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Für die Unterkunft ist ein PKW erforderlich. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist etwas versteckt. Das letzte Stück des Weges ist ein unebener Schotterweg, der aber ohne Probleme befahrbar ist. Mehrere große Supermärkte sind in ca. 10 Minuten mit dem PKW zu erreichen. Die hübsche Altstadt von Trogir und die Innenstadt von Split sind mit dem PKW schnell erreichbar. Vielen Dank an Antonija und Teo für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

Traumhaus in idealer Lage

Das Ferienhaus ist wunderschön, groß und sehr sauber. An Ausstattung ist einfach alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Selbst Decken für den Außenbereich und ein Monopoly Spiel, was unser Sohn geliebt hat. Der Garten ist großzügig geschnitten, hat alte Baumbestände und einen sehr großen Pool. Das tollste aber war der spektakuläre Blick aufs Meer, ins Tal und die Nachbarinseln. Wir konnten uns nie satt sehen. Antonija und Teo sind wundervolle Gastgeber und schon vor unserer Ankunft war die Kommunikation hervorragend. Als wir ankamen, erwartete uns ein großes Willkommenspaket an Lebensmitteln und man merkte sofort, dass die beiden immer bemüht sind, ihren Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Das haben wir in der Form bisher nocht nicht erlebt!! Die Lage der Villa erfodert unbedingt ein Auto und die Straße dorthin ist teilweise etwas abenteuerlich aber der Vorteil ist, dass man wirklich absolute Privatsphäre hat. Die Lage ist ideal als Ausflugsziel für viele wunderschöne Städte. Auch Strände sind ausreichend vorhanden und man findet immer wunderschöne Buchten, die nicht überlaufen sind. Alles in allem hatten wir einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Villa Vortex und würden -wenn möglich- 6 Sterne vergeben.

Einfach perfekt!

Antonija und Teo haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und waren immer für uns da. Wir haben super Tipps für Restaurants und Strände etc erhalten. Das Haus sieht noch schöner aus als auf den Fotos und ist sein Geld mehr als wert. Die Ausstattung ist super und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Für uns war es die erste Reise nach Kroatien, aber definitiv nicht die letzte. Die Gegend ist wunderbar, man kann mit relativ kurzen Fahrzeiten vieles erleben.

Amazing villa - you must book!

We had a fantastic stay - the view is incredible - on a clear day you can see havr in the distance! The outside area is beautiful, huge patio, loads of space for sunloungers and a lovely pool. Air con in every room, so always comfortable. We got lost (if you are trying to find it on google maps, direct it to Vortex (not Villa Vortex) , and Antonia & Teo came to fetch us - nothing was ever too much trouble. When we arrived, they had left us with a lovely welcome package, including a meat & cheese platter, bread, milk wine etc. Teo even took us out on his boat on the last day which was a great experience and an amazing way to see the coastline. We would come back in a heartbeat, its a beautiful villa which is so peaceful, yet in a great place to explore. We went to Hvar on the ferry, Trogir, Krka National Park down to the Kastela coast etc. but you could easily go further afield as its well connected. We were so sad to have to leave after our 2 week stay and would 100% come back and stay.

Villa with personality

Perfect place for us, two adults and two kids (10,11). Villa was not the easiest to find, but we called to host and they picked us up with a car and we followed them. Already at that point we noticed that hosts are super helpful and genuely interested of your pleasant stay. We got helpful tips about barbequeing, fishmarket etc. Villa was clean, kitchen had everything we needed, pool was nice and the view was marwellous. Just like in pictures or even better! Thank you for the great experience!
