This is my second visit to this neighborhood and first time staying in this condo.
The condo is not as clean as the one I stayed the first time. We had to wipe down all the surfaces that would be used to serve/eat/make food. Luckily, there were six adults so we did this quickly. One of the adults heard mice running in the attic. And sure enough, we found mouse traps in a utility closet.
The house is about 200 ft away from the closest slope. The nice this about the unit is that it had two kitchens. The unit had enough towels, so we didn't have to worry if one of the kids drops a towel or two on the floor. There is a washer and dryer in the unit, which was very helpful since we had a lot of small kids with us. Bathrooms are a little outdated. The main floor fireplace did not work well, very little heat was coming from it. Both lower level and main level fireplaces are turned on using a timer. This is annoying, because you have to turn them on every hour.
Now to the main flaw of the unit - the heating. It did not work well at all. First, even though there are three levels, the thermostat is located on the main (middle level). Second, the heating did not heat up the unit. With the controls as they are, you would expect to have very warm upper level, moderate main level and colder lower level. Not in this condo. All three levels were very cold. Not only that, but we could not keep the fireplaces on during the night (since they are on a timer). A few of us would wake up during the night and turn them on, but with the main fireplace not working well and the lower being far away from the bedrooms, it was very little help.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention the grill. The one we used on the main level deck was very dirty. We managed to burn of and scrap the grates enough to be able to use them once we turned on the grill. Luckily, it did have enough gas.
