I am a local license realtor, teach at the community college, and a columnist with Galveston Daily News living on beautiful Galveston Island. Life on the island is exciting and adventurous, every day is filled with new adventures. There is so much to do, see and learn! The beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. The ever-changing landscape of the beaches, the cool morning and evening breezes. The sound of the ocean waves and the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico lapping ashore! Life doesn't get any better than this (:). The island warms my heart!
I enjoy spending time in my community, volunteering, and helping families find their dream home. I love meeting people, learning about their personal journey, cultures, and way of life. As a young girl I grew up in South America, and to this day still, get excited planning and packing for a trip to an exciting new place.
I am an active member of several chambers, including the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce, advocating on behalf of businesses in and around Galveston County. I enjoy giving back to my community, both civic and social, and serve on several boards. I am an active Rotarian who enjoys rolling up my sleeves and volunteering in my club's community activities such as the Senior Share Program, College of the Mainland Education Foundation, and Child Safety and Health Fair.
I love gardening, the tropical weather on this amazing island allows me to indulge and enjoy this passion. The tall palm trees swaying in the wind, the smell of the Oleanders in spring time and the beautiful colors of Hibiscus. Life on the island is truly joyful!
I love the outdoors, riding my bicycle on the beach, running or walking on the beach, and listening to the sounds of the waves, magical! When life gets tough I relax by gardening, reading, and just hanging out with family and friends. I am a sports fanatic, a perfect day is watching football and puttering around in the kitchen!
