Issues with cleanliness

Several items of crockery were put away dirty and many surfaces (couch mantles etc) had not been cleaned properly. Space in the cottage is at a premium and, although we understand the owners also use the property as a holiday home, we found the cottage to be very cluttered leaving little space to properly put away our belongings. However, despite the above concerns over cleanliness we enjoyed a comfortable stay in a great location. Finally, a big thank you to the Norfolk Hideaways staff who dealt with the heating issues we experienced following a power cut.

Sorry to hear that you had concerns about the cleanliness, I can see by your booking nothing was brought to our attention, which is a shame as we do like to be given the opportunity to rectify any issues for you during your stay and we would have been more than happy to send housekeeping back round to focus on any areas that you were not happy with. Fab cottage!!

We had an amazing four days there exploring Norfolk Coast. Our only tiny complaint was that we had a group of ants move in!! However NG assured us they would take care of it once we’d left!!

We are so glad that your enjoyed your time in North Norfolk and do hope you return to Norfolk Hideaways sometime in the near future. We made the owner aware of the ant situation who addressed this at the time as necessary. I believe the ants have now moved out!. Once again many thanks for taking the time to write to us.

Great location. Well appointed property.

Located less than a five minute walk from the village center and a short drive to some interesting attractions. The property was clean and comfortable.
