Little piece of heaven

This was a beautiful spot - great views of ocean and plant life. The chickens were fun to watch - the roosters kept us on our toes and helped us get up in the morning. We will definitely stay here again.

The place was adequate and just as pictured. The master bed was a little hard for our liking. There is no AC and being from the mainland this was problematic for comfort and allergies. The unit did have extra chairs, a cooler and the complex was nice. There was a parking fee of 15 per day, plus tax that we were not told about before arrival.

Kauai

Condo was nice but i would ask that you keep all window coverings closed for check in. The condo was so hot because the sun had been shining in all day. Once we got the doors opened and the breeze was much better.

Another great stay at the Cliffs!

We enjoyed this property so much last time we stayed that we returned for another great visit. The unit is clean, bright and spacious. The only negative is the occasional noise from people at the pool but we didn’t let it bother us. It doesn’t have air conditioning but you don’t need it - the ocean breezes are perfect.

Outstanding vacation rental

We loved everything about this property. We were originally booked at another property nearby but were notified last minute that the other property was undergoing construction. The rental agency allowed us to cancel without penalty and moved us here. We were so glad they did. We had a great week here at the Cliffs at Princeville and would book this unit again in a heartbeat!

Just Perfect.

Fantastic stay

This was a perfect place to stay for the four of us. It was clean and spacious. The view was my favourite! It was fully equipped with everything we needed. The little gift of a cooler bag came in handy for the entire trip. We will be back!

Cliffs Club Vacation

We have been owners for 30 years at the Cliffs Club. We love it here. Stay at the unit was fine. Need to privide beach chairs and cooler. In general, Hawaii is becoming so expensive that we are considering other vacation destinations. Enjoy!

Fantastic stay!

We had a great stay at the condo. It was prefect for my husband, daughter, and I. Very clean and well appointed and the views were gorgeous. The grounds were very nicely kept and the location adjacent to the pool was perfect. No complaints whatsoever. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends & family for sure. FYI if you have not traveled to Kauai before, I recommend that you bring some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Chickens are part of island life and the roosters start to crow at the first hint of dawn. All part of the experience :)

My wife and I decided to stay in the North Shore and the Cliffs 5-301 was the perfect place four our stay. First off, the place itself was amazing with a ton of space, all the amenities we needed for our stay and was super clean. 5-301 has great views of the ocean and mountains and was perfectly located to hiking, beaches and sites we visited in the North Shore but also manageable for when we visited the South and East side of the island. The rental even included a cooler, beach umbrella and chairs which came in clutch! Overall, had an amazing time in Kauai and can't wait to make it back and would consider this place again for sure.

Didn’t think it could get any better, to our surprise the condo has been refreshed and it’s very tasteful with cool blue hues and island decor. Not sure if it’s the owners or KVR but the toilet paper, paper towels and extra soap (dish, laundry and bath) was much appreciated for our 12 night stay. The spices in the kitchen came in handy for those few dinners prepared- we were sure to replace and left our boys 2 boogie boards for other kids to enjoy. Already planning our 3rd return visit at 5301.Thank you to the owners for sharing this beautiful island retreat and to Kauai Vacation Rentals.

2nd Time at The Cliffs - Every Nit as Good as the First!

Nice as Advertised

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this unit and property came as advertised: great location, well kept grounds, and a well appointed unit made for a great stay. The unit easily slept us and we enjoyed using the grills on-site as well as the pool. The beach chairs and umbrella made it very easy to explore nearby beaches without having to rent. Opportunities: the key pickup and drop off is weird. Right when you get into Lihue, you have to go by a random building and pickup physical keys- not key cards- and, when you check out, you have to drop them off to the same location. For our early flight, we had to do this at 4:00 am. They have an office onsite in Princeville so it’s unclear why you can’t just lock the keys in the unit or drop off at the property office. Also, beware that the doors to the units lock just like a hotel would when closed, unless you change this on the lock set itself with the door open. In their excitement, my kids let the door close behind them while moving luggage in and we locked the keys in the unit. The office was open, but they did not have any keys, nor were they helpful with what we should do to get in our unit. They expressed they’d page security to see if they had keys but not sure if they did. Surely, they would have a way to get in every unit, and, surely, this is not the first time this has happened. It’s clear by watching staff clean rooms when guests check out that they have the ability to get in units. Despite being unsure if they could help, we were thankful that security finally was able to locate a key and get us in.Also, the exercise room is quite small and only one or two people can use and there’s no weight bench. The pool was nice but also note that the adult hot tub directly below the unit is a real problem at night. Super loud. We would have to wait until after 10:00 pm to call security and they would clear the people out. Unclear why security wouldn’t do this proactively at 10:00 pm b
