Great house, perfect for our fall girls weekend trip to celebrate a big birthday. House was cozy, close to everything, clean and well equipped with cooking utensils, fans, and extra blankets. We loved the area and we would come back again!

Very nice home

It is a very short walk to town and a short walk to many beaches. The house was very clean and had plenty of chairs, towels, etc. for our stay. We would stay at this house again.

Comfortable home within walking distance to downtown. Close to Kal Haven Trail which we enjoyed daily. Nice backyard space to enjoy evening bonfires.

Quiet but close to everything!

We had a great time making memories in South Haven. Nice house in a quiet neighborhood but close to beach and town. Everything in working order and a perfect layout for grandparents, parents and grandkids to each have our own space. Would stay here again and hope to return next year.

Summer Vacation in South Haven

The property was a great base for exploring South Haven as well as day trips into other parts of Michigan. Walking into town was easy. We appreciated the proximity to Meijer for anything we needed during the trip. The house was well stocked with necessities for cooking, beach trips, and evenings in. We would happily stay again.

Nice location

The house is in a nice location...walking distance to the downtown. However the beds up stairs aren't that comfortable for adults, and it gets a little crowded in the den if you have more than 6 people.

Quiet neighborhood street and only 5 min walk to Phoenix St.!

The front room, which essentially functions as a screened in patio with windows that open on all sides is a great place to sit and relax. The house is beautifully updated and decorated, and is a very short walk to Phoenix St., Admiral Jack's (rest/bar) and both South & North Beach.

Comfortable and clean beach cottage

Such an adorable and clean beach cottage. The proximity to town and skate park was great! Close enough for the kids to venture out on their own. Also within walking distance to Captain Lou’s! The weather wasn’t super cooperative during our vacation, but the Memory Maker was comfortable and cozy to just hang out and relax and play the many board games provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Cute and close to everything

Loved that we could leave the car and walk or bike to just about everything. Spent a lot of time on the adorable three season front porch! Tracy (homeowner) was super helpful with some special requests. Only complaint were the beds, some of which were a little old/soft.

Good for everyone

The house was close to lots of activities so some could run back for afternoon naps. We had meals that would not affect other diners and some of us were able to have an hour or two to have adult beverages without children.

Perfect for your family memories

Another great week in South Haven and a second stay in this lovely home. Tracey was a good communicator but there were no major issues. House was clean, well organized and well stocked. The house is laid out well for a family or two couples. We love the location, which is within easy walking distance of town and the harbor. We expect to return!

Close to Phoenix Street

Nice large house with a great layout - loved the front porch! Owner was responsive and kind. This property is close to downtown but we had to drive to North Beach - you could walk (probably around 25min) but we had 2 kids (4 and 7) and it was too far for them.

Great little get away

Great for kids, better for a little older who can share a room upstairs. Infants was difficult with the layout of bedrooms. But clean cute and fully stocked kitchen. Grill didn’t work which was a little disappointing because we had all grill food. Sweet quiet street walking distance to everything!

Fabulous Girls Weekend

The home is absolutely adorable! True to the photos. Very clean & we had everything we needed. Great neighborhood too. Close to everything. The owner Tracy was extremely accommodating & very responsive. She got back to me right away & gave great suggestions for places to eat & visit. All the girls had a fabulous time. South Haven Success

Kitchen was loaded with everything needed to cook including some basic spices. Family room had enough space for 6 of us to watch a movie and play board games they had. Nice fire pit and grill outside. We walked into South Haven many times for meals. Only minor downside was no green space in the yard or nearby, but that wasn’t a priority for us. Drove to the beach (North Beach) each day which only took five minutes. Overall, great place to stay.

Another great stay in South Haven

we have stayed in South Haven several times and this is our third stay in this property. The property is being well-maintained and upstairs beds were recently upgraded. All of the rooms are comfortable, well appointed, with comfortable beds and a colorful, beachy feel. The space worked well for us and our family members. There were several beach towels and beach chairs as well as some beach toys that we used. The property is closer to downtown than to the beach but is walkable. all of the appliances and bathrooms are in good working order. We had no particular issues during our stay. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and the layout is good for sharing space with loved ones, while having some privacy. some of the other places we’ve stayed had porches, but the way this one is laid out, it is more usable, stays relatively cool and makes a great place to have breakfast or hang out with family.

We have lived in Michigan for 30 years. We have 2 children and love enjoying family time. South Haven has been one of our favorite Michigan vacation destinations.

We have visited South Haven for years and love its beach-town feel without being overly expensive. There are so many great places to eat and fun things to do not to mention the beach. There is something for everyone. Our kids enjoy having lunch in town, visiting the surf shop, playing volleyball at North Beach and going to the cute movie theater in town. We enjoy a night out with friends at the great restaurants and enjoying the sunset each evening. A kayak trip up Black River or a bike ride on the trail are fantastic Fall activities. We also enjoy visiting the wineries and breweries in the area.

Our house is close to everything. We do not even need to use our car while we are there. If you have small children or lots of stuff to take to the beach, it is close enough for someone to drive down to drop off kids and things, drive back and then walk to meet your family. Everything is less than 1 mile away!!
