Nice little cottage in picturesque Madeira village

We had a very good time in Faial. The cottage had everything we needed (including coffee maker!). Very clean. We liked using the outdoor kitchen and barbecue. Kids loved the swing in the small garden. We liked the location very much. Close to the sea, trails and north shore.

Nice little holiday house - perfect location to see all the marvels of Madeira

The service is absolutely perfect. Communication before, at and after our holiday was very nice. Margida, who was our service contact is very fast in answering every question and organizing new towels or things you may miss in the kitchen. Thank you for helping, Margida! The house is the perfect location to start to every "must-see" at Madeira. Located in the middle of the northern side it is not longer than 1 hour to get to all interesting spots at this nice island. Don"t miss the nice bar at the street above the house to get a real traditional poncha here! Thanks again for our perfect holiday!

Lovely house, a bit humid....

Dear Propery Manager, The communication was excellent and we really appreciated the very quick response when we asked for some more kitchen equipment. There is one thing we would really like to mention. The house, particularly the two bedrooms, are very humid and the owner might consider having a dehumidifier running more or less all the time, not just when guests are arriving. The insides of pressess and wardrobes have an unpleasant, mildrewey smell to them. Other than that a great house. Many thanks!

Avant notre arrivée, nous avons reçu beaucoup de messages insistants de la part de l’entreprise de location. Le ton employé était très corporatif et agaçant, et certaines infos demandées ne les regardaient aucunement.Une fois sur place, nous avons été reçus par une charmante dame qui s’est bien occupée de nous. La propriété est magnifique, bien équipée et l’emplacement est sublime et sécuritaire. À quelques pas de là, on y trouve un des meilleurs espresso de Madère !!! Je recommanderais sans souci cette propriété.

Zwar billig, aber enttäuschend und muffig und direkt an der Strasse

NEGATIV: *Das Bad war schmuddelig und nicht sehr angenehm *Die Küche ist schlecht und lieblos ausgestattet (keine brauchbare Pfanne, kein Backofen, wenig Tassen & Gläser, Schränke riechen nach Chemikalien) *Das Haus riecht muffig und ist feucht *Nach Regen lief Wasser an der Wohnzimmerwand (innen!) herunter *Die Matratze ist völlig durchgelegen und erzeugt Rückenschmerzen, so daß wir in einem 6qm Zimmer genächtigt haben * Man liegt im Bett direkt an der Straße, die Lage des Hauses wurde bei FeWo fehlerhaft (absichtlich?) angegeben * die Agentur „Madeira Adventures“, die die Schlüsselübergabe macht, ist völlig überflüssig POSITIV: * geringe Entfernung zu guten Wanderungen

Tolles Ferienhaus im Norden Madeiras

Wir haben nun schon zum 3.Male auf Madeira den Herbsturlaub verbracht. Diesmal wurde bewußt eine Unterkunft im Norden gewählt. Das Ferienhaus entspricht den Bildern. Die Lage an einer der Zufahrtstrassen in Madeiras Berge hat uns nicht gestört. Das Haus war sehr sauber. Ausstattungsmäßig ist alles da, was man braucht. Highlight für uns die überdachte Terasse. Die Kommunikation mit Sandra war perfekt. Als Ausgangspunkt, um den Norden Madeiras zu entdecken, hat uns die Unterkunft sehr gefallen. Thank you so much, Sandra.
