A wonderful stay

Great layout of the house for many people staying together. Fantastic view and a very attractiv pool! Nice restaurants nearby, and a great base location for seeing all of the Maltise Islands.

Clean rooms , very spacious and comfortable. The host was good at communicating. The only negative was that we could not get the washing machine to work, and maintenance did not contact us as the said they would.

Best of all

We had a great time at the Harbour country house, the layout of the property is very good, very well equipped, and clean too. Obviously the highlight is the pool area with the amazing view of the harbour. It just needs a TV on the ground floor and an ac in kitchen / dining area. I would also suggest to have two new parasol bases with wheels because the pool is always in the sun and was very hard to move the bases around every morning and evening. We look forward to come back again hopefully in summer 2027 You can just improve it a bit by putting a TV on the groundfloor, air-condition unit in the kitchen / dining and maybe changing the parasol bases to wheeled ones.

A great summer break, again!

A great location as so close to restaurants, bars and shops. And a view that is hard to beat. The pool is also excellent. Air conditioning unit in the lounge area.

Photos misrepresent property

Beware that there is no shade by the pool between 11am and 3pm. Two umbrella stands supplied, both broken. Only one umbrella supplied. When asked for another one as per photos, nothing was provided. Due to this when did use the one umbrella supplied, husband got hit on the forehead by the umbrella spoke leaving a nasty gash on his head.We decided both umbrella stands were therefore unsafe to use. The lack of shade greatly affected our experience in the villa, especially with two children. Also beware on road noise due to location at top of hill on narrow bend resulting in vehicle horns blowing all the time. Would be nice if there were mosquito nets at all the doors and windows, not just some of them. All suffered heavily with bites.

Dear guests, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re truly sorry to hear that the issue with the umbrellas affected your stay, and especially regret that your husband was injured. Guest safety and comfort are always our top priority. Please allow us to clarify, as soon as we were informed about the problem, we promptly arranged for the umbrella stands to be fixed to ensure safe use. We take such matters very seriously and always do our best to act quickly once we are made aware of them. We also appreciate your comments regarding shade, road noise, and mosquito nets. Your suggestions are very valuable and will certainly be taken into consideration for future improvements. We’re glad to hear that, despite these issues, you were able to spend time enjoying the villa, and we do hope we’ll have the opportunity to welcome you back with an even better experience. Warm regards, Donald S Reservations manager
