Wonderful

We rented both villas, both had everything that we could need. Villas are a little way from the larger supermarkets. Taxi' s were good. Car hire would be a must. Jospeh was fantastic with all our enquires before our stay and during. Maintenance team were very fast in responding when light bulbs needed changing. Pools were clean. Could not fault these villas.

Well-equipped villa for large groups

After choosing lots of villas we finally decided to book Mas ca l’ Estrada and the stay exceeded our expectations. There are lots of space in this enclosed property, set in a lovely and tranquil spot only surrounded by farmland and forests. Beds are very comfortable and linen/ furnishings all clean. The maintenance staff is always available for all requests you may have and supermarkets and public facilities at very easy to reach. We recommend it for large groups that want to take advantage of a visit to Barcelona and to the amazing coves of the Costa Brava as well. Henk W.

Absolutely perfect

Recently stayed here with 6 other families and children aged from 3-16. The villa was perfect had everything we needed and more. The grounds and pools were kept brilliantly. We had our best holiday as a group and would recommend this property to anyone. Location also lovely with beautiful coastline and lovely medieval towns close by.

RECOMMENDABLE FOR LARGE GROUPS

We stayed a long weekend in middle of April with a large group of friends from different nationalities and all of us were really impressed with the villa. We chose that property for a home base for our trips to the region of Costa Brava and Barcelona. Mas Figueres has it all ! It is very well fitted, spotlessly clean and cosy. It has a fully equipped kitchen, large dining room, 10 bedrooms, all with exquisite decoration everywhere,....We spent almost all day in the conservatory and in the covered terrace next to it and to the large bath area. We also appreciated the fast and useful service of the maintenance staff who was always ready to help us when we requested their services. We had never received this kind of service in other large villas we stayed. The villa is very recommendable for large groups. Giorgio

Excelente acomodaçâo

A casa de férias Mas Figueres possui tudo que se pode esperar! Recomendo para quem quer conforto, comodidade, e segurança. Positive bike training in Girona Costa Brava !

We have been recently accommodated at villa Mas Cubell for a short days of bike training and the experience has been really positive. The property belongs to a group specialised in large villas, which further its effective organisation gives you confidence and garantees you good service. Carme, the owner of that villa was able to provide us with excellent food during all the stay! Furthermore the 10 bedroooms of the villa are very well furnished and comfortable. The last day ended with thermal hot springs in the nearby town of Caldes de Malavella and of course an amazing lunch cooked at the villa by Carme. The only criticism is that Carme does not speak English but the excellent cook service she did for us during our stay was largely compensated. Dolores and Wayne

Large and comfortable villa for families

We were 7 families, 31 people in total, and were lucky to make a reservation for a short stay at the beginning of March. The weather was great, sunny and with pleasant temperatures. Villa Mas ca l’ Estrada, though we saw before booking that it had good reviews, was better than we imagined, the location was really nice, quite and very private. The enclosed grounds of the villa, with the lush garden, the 2 large fenced pool areas and 2 playgrounds were perfect for our kids to play in total safety. The rooms, fully decorated, were cleaned and very well maintained. The large walkway covered terrace is amazing, it is perfect for having meals outdoors all together. This large and comfortable villa is ideal for families that want to meet and be away of the mass tourism.We really appreciated our stay and strongly recommend this villa. Alvaro da Costa Silveira

Enjoying a bike tour !

Our team of 22 amateur cyclists went on a bike tour during a long weekend in the beginning of March through Girona Costa Brava and had a very good experience riding the good roads in the area called l' Empordà, which is situated between the beautiful farmland of Girona and the wonderful beaches of Costa Brava. The villa we booked, Mas Cubell, was a perfect location for touring this corner of Catalonia. The property has all one may expect, bedrooms are comfortable and very clean, and the owner Mrs Carme is very friendly and a good cook. We recommend it. Paul

Ideal for a large group stay

We stayed late February at Villa Mas ca l’ Estrada for a long weekend with friends, and from the enquiry, dealing directly with the owners, through to check out, everything was quick and well organized. The enclosed property is lovely and accommodated comfortably our group of 28, there are 12 bedrooms ,4 kitchens, 2 large pools,.. ! The outdoor area is well maintained and the location, though isolated in the countryside, is easy to find. The maintenance staff of the owner looked after us any time we ask for help. We recommend staying here if you have a large group and want to have access to the Girona Costa Brava region not far from Barcelona ! Jan Smuts

The best cycling holidays ever!

Our group of 18 cyclists spent a week in the middle of February training in Girona Costa Brava region. We booked villa Mas Cubell in Cassà de la Selva and felt us absolutely wonderful. The property is huge and very private. Furthermore its spacious 10 bedrooms are very comfortable, nicely furnished and having all windows opening to the garden and the typical mediterranean farmland. The villa is next to a paved track connecting to the main roads of Girona region, which was an additional advantage for us. The staff of the owner, a company managing several beautiful large villas in the area, were always available when we ask for them. They were friendly, helpful and informative. The restaurants they recommended, Mas Ros, Can Valls,.. were situated nearby, offering a wide variety of menus with very reasonable prices. Definitely we would like to come back next year. John M

Verträumte Villa

Dieses Herrliches Landsteinhaus in der nähe von Costa Brava erfüllt alle Wünsche. Das Haus ist schöner und sehr gepflegter Garten mit wunderbarem Pool. Alles sehr sauber. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und landschaftlich ein Traum. Die begehrenswerte Orte wie Girona, Figueres oder Barcelona sind sehr einfach zu erreichen und viele sehenswerte Dörfer müssen besucht werden. Wir haben uns verliebt in dieses Paradies und kommen bestimmt wieder Paloma und Uwe

Truly amazing stay in Catalunya

This was our second time in Catalunya and this time we decided to chose a villa not far from Barcelona but close to the countryside. The location sets in a very private and tranquil spot near the coastal areas of the Costa Brava. The property is huge, 12 charming bedrooms, 2 large pools, 2 conservatories,....and fully equipped with modern appliances and internet access. The service of the staff was perfect, in particular Francesc, the handyman. He was available any time during all our stay. A villa to recommend for big groups.

Very Nice holliday

Amazing large villa The location is amazing, in the tranquil countryside and near the incredible beaches of Costa Brava. As others have said, the staff , Joseph in particular and his maintenance staff, is great.They all were very helpful any time and never disturbed our holiday in any way. There was plenty of room everywhere- we were 23 adults and 15 children staying comfortably at Mas ca l’Estrada. We enjoyed the 2 large pools next to the covered terraces and conservatories this large property has. The beds were comfortable, and all appliances were modern and fully working.... and we were 38 people !. It was a positive experience and we won't forget. If you stay here, don't miss asking for the delicious dishes cooked by Catia and Saray.
