A dream place to stay

The cottage is situated in a very quiet area not faraway from Amboise. It has all the facilities someone would need for a comfortable stay. Josephine is the best hostess and the place is pristinely clean. The cottage has a small backyard with a table and chairs to sit and enjoy your meal or just to have a rest with a glass of wine. There is a possibility to park your car in a safe spot just in front of the gate.We can highly recommend the cottage to everyone who is looking for a peaceful place to relax after visiting the castles in the Loire Valley area. The only challenge which people may have is that the bedroom is upstairs and it could be a bit difficult for someone who has mobility issues.

A Cozy Home for a January Visit to Amboise

Our January stay at Josephine's place was perfect. Anyone who has driven in France knows that parking can be a source of stress, so it was lovely to arrive and find we had a dedicated (and spacious) parking spot just steps from the door to our suite. We arrived on a rainy January afternoon and were thrilled to find how cozy and warm the suite was. It had everything we needed for our four-night stay. It is located right on the edge of Amboise, so feels nice and rural, but is within easy walking distance of the centre of town and the Chateau Amboise, as well as good walking trails along the Loire River. Josephine greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. She even gave us a lovely bottle of wine to start our visit. We highly recommend staying at her wonderful VRBO suite if you are visiting Amboise. Diane and Brad Culling, British Columbia, Canada

Superbe hébergement

L'hébergement est tres proche du centre ville d'Amboise proche de pleins de châteaux a voir. Nous y avons passé un fabuleux moments le plus le jardin avec 2 tables pour manger dehors à l'ombre. L'appartement est très bien équipé.

Au calme et proche de nombreux châteaux

Petit logement douillet ou l'on s'y sent bien et au calme. On est vite remis en place. Proche de Tours, de Blois. La propriétaire nous informe et nous reçoit agréablement. C'était notre 2ème séjour dans ce logis.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und in die kleine, aber recht gut ausgestattete und saubere Ferienwohnung eingeführt. Von außen eher unscheinbar, enthielt sie alles Notwendige. Küche mit Wohnbereich und Bad liegen im Erdgeschoss, das Schlafzimmer ist mit einer Treppe zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Nous avons passé 3 jours tres agreables dans la petite bigonnerie . Petite maison bien agencée et propre idéalement située pour les visites de chateau du clos Lucé , gaillard , Chenonceau et autres. Ainsi que pour les circuits ou balades vélo ou randonnées. Proprietaire tres sympa et discrets.

Calme et tranquillité

Séjour très agréable dans ce logement légèrement à l'écart du centre d'Amboise. Le lieu est très calme et la propriétaire très accueillante. Nous avons pu visité le Clos Lucé et le Château de Chenonceau. Ce grand week-end était reposant et nous y retournons fin Août pour pouvoir visiter le Zoo de Beauval situé à quelques kilomètres.
