In the Loire Valley, the Chardonnay Vacation Home

In Lussault sur Loire in the heart of the Montlouisien vineyards.
Magnificent cottage located in a green setting with an enclosed landscaped garden, the cottage is an old barn completely restored, a real residence of character and charm with its stones and exposed beams.
House founded before 1585 by important figures in the service of the King.
During your stay in our cottages, you will have at your disposal some authentic documents (will of April 6, 1651), copied from the departmental archives of Indre et Loire, plus our personal research.
15 minutes from Tours, close to the Château d'Amboise, the Château de Chenonceau, and the Clos Lucé (Leonardo da Vinci's famous house).
Visit of the Loire Valley Castles in a hot air balloon
A unique and unforgettable adventure, hot air balloon flights take place mainly from April 1st to October 30th, in the morning or late afternoon. Out of season, it is still possible to fly but only in private gondolas of 2 to 5 people.
Flights are mainly from the prestigious sites of Amboise, Chenonceau, Chaumont.
Visit the Castles by plane with the Dierre aerodrome
A three-hectare park is at your disposal to share with Lulu the royal turkey and his companion, a couple of peacocks, a good dozen hens and their rooster who walks there.
If you have bicycles you will find at the end of the park the entrance to the circuit 'la Loire a vélo' for great safe walks.

Emplacement d' une calme extraordinaire, en dehors des bruits de la ville.Les propriétaires sont des personnes charmantes et courageusesLe lieu est très central pour découvrir cette belle région, en voiture et surtout à vélo.Pistes cyclables assez bien balisées et aménagées.

Wundervoll inmitten von Weinfeldern und in einem sehr großen parkähnlichen Garten gelegen. Es war absolut ruhig und die Wohnung für uns sehr großzügig. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlte an nichts. Madame Rose war jederzeit für unsere Anliegen erreichbar und hat sich unmittelbar gekümmert.

Heerlijk verblijf. Rustige omgeving. In het huis is alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Fijne bedden. Ook de keuken is goed uitgerust met pannen e.d.Eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Geven je veel privacy.

séjour apaisant

situé à quelques kilomètres d'Amboise, le gite est aussi idéalement placé pour visiter les châteaux et la ville de Tours. le gite est très calme, on peut aisément manger dehors à l'ombre des grands arbres. Nous avons trouvé tout le nécessaire sur place, y compris quelques pierres de sucre, et une bouteille de rosé fraiche offerte à notre arrivée. merci à la gérante sur place qui ne s'impose pas mais offre tous les renseignements que nous souhaitons lorsque nous la sollicitons.

Gîte - Le Chardonnay and its location.

A really quiet and peaceful location. The local town of Amboise is only 4 miles away, it has 2 markets a week where you can buy most anything and of course the Château Royal d'Amboise is well worth a visit. Other châteaux on the Loire are within easy reach. The river Loire was well below its normal level (August '22) so no boat trips for us. If you like white wine then Montlouis is just down the road. The gîte was clean, tidy, very quiet and has a fridge freezer, ideal for the hot weather we had.

Lovely stay

For two of us the property was fine but had there been four it would have been difficult in that there was only I sofa and hanging space was limited to a rail downstairs. The property was well equipped but there were no sharp knives. It is ideally situated to visit chateaux in the region and vineyards and it was great to sit out in the grounds in the evening and relax after a busy day. The local railway line has a good service to lager towns in the region. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Richtig schön

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) haben diese Wohnung nach einer Woche in Paris als Ausgangspunkt für die Besichtigung etlicher Loireschlösser ausgesucht. Die Lage ist dafür hervorragend geeignet. Die Vermieterin ist eine sehr nette Dame und die Wohnung ist richtig schön. Küche gut ausgestattet, großer Esstisch, ordentlich Wasserdruck und sauber einstellbare Temperatur im Bad, schöne Schlafräume im ersten Stock und absolute Nachtruhe. Klare Empfehlung!

Beautiful gite close to Amboise and Chateaus

A lovely two bedroom gite, set in beautiful surroundings. The facilities were excellent with washing machine etc in the kitchen. The owners left us some of their chickens eggs for breakfast which were delicious and were very helpful giving us advice on what we could see in our two days in the region. Peacocks and peahens roamed the grounds. Idyllic!

Excellent séjour dans un joli cadre

Nous avons fait un séjour assez court mais nous avons apprécié le cadre, le beau jardin . Il y a beaucoup d'espace, chaque gîte dispose d'une table et de chaises à l'extérieur. Le gîte est très fonctionnel, il y a tout ce qu'il faut. La décoration est très soignée et la propreté impeccable. Nous le conseillons vivement!

Wonderful guest house

This place is a gem. Madame Rose has so many nice touches around the place from greeting guests with a bowl of chocolates to having a thoughtfully well-stocked guest house complete with hairdryer, 2 clothes drying racks with hangers, a towel warmer in the bath, freshener in the bathroom, sugar, paper towels and even a potty seat for a baby. A nice touch was that the guest house came complete with bath towels and bed sheets which was not the case at another gite we rented. Thanks so much for all these lovely touches. I wish we had had more time to look around and walk the grounds.

AGRÉABLE SÉJOUR

Este alojamiento está muy bien situado si lo que se quiere es visitar los principales castillos de la región del Loyra. Es muy tranquilo, pero se encuentra a 10 minutos en coche de Amboise. La propietaria es muy amable y el alojamiento está muy bien equipado. Sólo faltaría tener algún producto más de limpieza. Ce gîte est très bien situé, c'est le meilleur point de départ pour découvrir les chateaux de la région . Il est tranquil et calme et bien equipé. La propriétaire est très gentile. Je mettrais plus de produits pour le nettoyage (détergent pour la machine à laver, flit, par exemple).

Ce fut un plaisir...

Nous gardons un goût de "revenez-y" de cette charmante location où nous avons pu apprécier de longues soirées dans un écrin de verdure ,au calme,et où les propriétaires nous ont réservé un accueil plein de bienveillance et de discrétion. Le gîte est bien équipé,et le charme de ce domaine peut être appréciable pour un couple,un petit groupe ou une famille qui voudraient fuir la ville et respirer un air pur....Les amis des bêtes pourront admirer de jolies volailles,et les amoureux de l'art et de l'histoire seront à deux pas des châteaux de la Loire.... Un charme rare et une adresse à retenir.

Féérique sommes addicts!

Déjà le troisième séjour dans ce gîte que nous réservons d'une année à l'autre. Nous ne pouvons nous en passer. L'accueil est chaleureux, bienveillant et le gîte est idéalement situé pour toutes les visites de châteaux exceptionnels entre autres..Les activités de loisir sont nombreuses : vélo, canoë, divers parcs animaliers aux environs etc...et j'en oublie. Bravo pour la tenue de l'habitat et du parc qui est un merveilleux havre de verdure au calme ponctué par le doux gloussement de Lulu le dindon ...adorable et très drôle également. le gîte idéal pour visiter la région bordelaise

Séjour très agréable dans ce gîte agencé avec goût situé dans un endroit calme avec terrasse et jardin. Les propriétaires sont parfaits, sympathiques, attentionnés envers leurs hôtes et de très bon conseil tout en étant discrets. Excellente literie, le gîte est très bien aménagé et très propre. Le plus est la grange immense et magnifique où nous avons pu garer la voiture en toute sécurité. Merci beaucoup Myriam et Stéphane , nous vous embrassons. A l'année prochaine, Michel et Sylvie.
