Wonderful

Makaha is a great away from the tourist bustle getaway. The condo was clean and stocked with quite a few items that made settling in much easier! The sunset and ocean views were amazing from this unit!!

Awesome place

This place was great. If you are looking for nightlife, or touristy things this is not it. And yes there are a lot of homeless on the way there. But once we got to this complex it's was perfect for us. It's not super fancy like all the big resorts in Waikiki with the prices to match. But the whole complex is clean and well kept. The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything you need and then some. The view is fantastic. We had turtles come up and play in the waves right below us almost every day. We also saw dolphins and a monk seal and watched the surfers. All from the laini which is shaded most of the day. There is no air conditioning, but we never missed it. Nice breeze most of the time. Tim even has binoculars in there. Along with beach chairs and umbrella, boogie boards and a small cooler for the beach even a surf board if you are adventurous. We only used the chairs and cooler. We accidentally broke a beach chair which we replaced, but when I told Tim he said, "no worries and thank you for letting me know." He was great to work with. It is a drive out here, so a rental car is recommended, but we don't mind driving so it was fine. We were really sad when we had to leave. We would definitely stay here again. Mahalo Tim for sharing this wonderful place with us.

Beautiful view!! The bed mattress is a little worn in my opinion, but it definitely worked. Check in process was easy and apartment was as advertised. Would definitely recommend for for a stay!

Ocean lovers' paradise !

You get the best views and the coolest ocean breeze in the corner units on that end of the building! Makaha beach is very safe for swimming and snorkeling. I call Makaha beach a swimmer's paradise in the summer and a surfers paradise in the winter! I

Vorweg: Das absolute Highlight dieser Ferienwohnung ist der Balkon. Ein traumhafter Blick direkt auf den Pazifik, den wir definitiv vermissen werden. Nicht nur der beliebte Surferhotspot von Makaha bot viel Spektakuläres fürs Auge. Wir hatten das große Glück, fast jeden Tag Buckelwale beobachten zu können. Außerdem oft auch Monkseals, Delphine und einmal eine Schildkröte. Dass in der Wohnung ein Fernglas bereit lag, war da natürlich perfekt. Überhaupt fanden wir viele Dinge vor, die sich gut gebrauchen ließen, ein Surfbrett, zwei Bodyboards und mehrere Schnorchelausrüstungen. Vielen Dank dafür! Sehr positiv empfanden wir, dass die Fotos im Objektprofil exakt der Wirklichkeit entsprachen. Nichts geschönt, was auch überhaupt nicht notwendig wäre. Die Wohnung ist ausgesprochen angenehm, hübsch und wohnlich ausgestattet. Wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Die Kommunikation mit Host Temujin lief reibungslos. Insgesamt eine rundum wunderbare Zeit. Gerne jederzeit wieder!

Dream vacation

The location of the apartment is perfect to see the real beauty of Hawaii. No other buildings in the neighborhood, perfect view from the huge balcony, the beach is right there. The apartment was clean, they provided beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, there were some basic pantry items, it had everything we needed and more. I definitely recommend it!

The Perfect WFH "Office" and Escape from the Hustle & Bustle of City

If you are looking for an escape from the noise of a city and really be emersed in paradise, this is where you need to be. The location and views of are absolutely stunning. Between waking up to surfers catching morning waves and stunning majestic sunsets, all from the comfort of the bed or lanai (porch), it cannot get much better than this. The studio was clean and had everything that you might need to be comfortable during your stay. My encounter with the building staff and security were always pleasant and welcoming. Markets / restaurants are about a 10 minute drive away where you will get more of a local experience. Tim was very responsive and helpful during my 30 day stay.

Beautiful Makaha Point condo!

I have found my favorite new place to stay on Leeward side of Oahu! Very clean, updated, comfortable unit with a wrap around balcony to admire views. Breathtaking sunsets! Comfortable pullout sofa-sectional and a super soft memory mattress bed, stocked with utensils in the kitchen, and beautiful quality wooden cabinets to hang your clothes. Not to mention beach chairs, a boogie board and did I mention an Aleia to test your skills in the point break surf at Makaha Beach park? Just watch the backwash inside section of the break, if in doubt don't go out!
