I am a 30 year part time resident of Kure Beach and the WIlmington area. With a permanenet home in Cary, NC. I am former competitive tennis player and always ready toplay games and cards of all kinds I begin hosting guests in 2015 in order to provide a pet friendly space when no one in the area accepted dogs.An Active volunteer at shelters and rescues, I charge a $25 nightly fee( maximum of $100) for pets which is donated to an Animal Rescue Fund Trust.
A passionate NC State Wolfpack fan who attends all football and basketball home games and even some on the road. If there's a game on, my former cheerleader self may be cheering loud enough to be heard on the first floor!! Ill try and hold it down!!
Living on the top 2 floors of my home from April until the fall, with my sweet rescue dog, Buffy, I love hosting guests and sharing my home with people from all over the world.
Offering small town southern hospitality and information on where to go and what to do. I offer personal recommendations for dining and entertainment in a WELCOME PAK provided weeks prior to check in. A decorator box stored on the den bookshelf will provide menus, activity and recreational rental information. Questions about anything in the New Hanover area? Ill try to answer as best as i can. Wilmington offers something for Everyone and once you discover our coast, I feel sure you will want to return often.

Kure Beach, a well kept secret, is a quiet family beach 30 minutes south of the historic port city of Wilmington, NC. Located on Pleasure Island and home to historic Fort Fisher Civil War battleground, the NC Acquarium and the Fort Fisher Ferry to Southport where you can explore this riverfront town full of shops and nostalgia and great seafood restaurants.
Kure Beach, offers a soft sandy usually uncrowded beach with lifeguards. Our beach underwent renourishment in April 2026 making it a flat surface better for beach walking. or bicycle riding.
An easy walk to restaurants, bars and attractions on the KB boardwalk as well as the longest fishing pier on the East Coast where you may snag your dinner, if you're lucky. Kure Beach is a former laid back fishing village that has grown to now house about 3000 full time residents.

Newly renovated in 2025 ,Oceanview Apartment comes with all the extra touches to make your vacation special. Kitchenette with full size refrigerator, microwave, oven/airfryer, full kitchen supplies and a spacious farm house sink and adequate granite countertop, A Bar cart fully stocked with bar glasses and tools.. and a place to store your cocktail ingredients.

Hotel quality Linens provided and your king size bed ready when you arrive. We provide Beach chairs and towels upon request, and an outdoor heated shower to wash off after you leave the beach.Master your beach walk or jog along the ocean front trail, explore the coquina rock reefs, kayak, surf fish, or ride the waves. Walk to the fishing pier, restaurants, bars and enjoy the weekly free outdoor concert and Thursday night fireworks. Dogs on leash are welcome on the beach before 9 am and after 5pm. Fort Fisher Recreation Area allows leased dogs at all time.

The Spacious primary bedroom comes with walk in closet and a second TV with Hulu Live+, ESPN and DIsney provided. Both the den and kitchen are decorated in a beachy theme with comfortable chairs for the bedroom and den. No lack of places to relax while you are here! Wifi is available for your use while at Oceanview and the code will be provided in the Welcome Pak.
A shady fenced in back yard adjoins your apartment for the comfort and convenience of your pet.. There are chairs and a table on the brick patio for sitting with your evening cocktail and a full size dining table for four for picnicing under the water oaks
Our pet fee is nominal and much less than a boarding fee and a lot more fun for your dog as he gets to vacation with you!.. All pet fees are used to support our Animal Rescue Trust which provided grants to deserving rescues and shelter in NC, SC, Va. Tx and overseas.
