We had such a lovely stay. The house is beautiful and there are 4 different outdoor seating areas, all of which had views of the olive groves surrounding the villa. Our favorite was the rooftop terrace with views of the countryside and hilltop towns. It is exceptionally peaceful and quiet. We took a short walk to the town of Farnetella. The larger town of Sinalunga has restaurants and grocery stores and is a 10 minute drive. We also did a day trip to Sienna. The host was very friendly and gave a great tour of the house and gardens. This was the perfect location for our family of three to experience the beauty and peace of the Tuscan countryside.

This was the perfect spot for our Tuscany 4 day visit. Put us right in the middle of where we wanted to visit.The house is exactly what we wanted for a visit. It’s not a 5 star luxury resort. It is house that we envisioned while visiting Tuscany. Very clean, Fabrizio is great (and he has Google translate down ;-) ).

This place is beautifully maintained, quiet, peaceful yet close to many of the Tuscany hill towns. Fabrizio is charming and accomodates any of your requests. Sunrise and full moon were equally spectacular. Will definitely stay again when I return to Toscanna!!!

This is a beautiful Tuscan home! Peaceful setting away from towns, breathtaking views, and gorgeous inside and out. I can't say enough about how much we loved staying here. Our host went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our vacation, he even would drop us off/pick us up from the train station.

Peaceful Getaway

Located in a peaceful location, the house is charming and homey. The hosts are very kind and accommodating, and we had a wonderful stay. The view from the bedroom balcony is spectacular.

Charming Place in Tuscany

Great place with beautiful views. Nikola was a wonderful host and told us many places to visit around the area. If you are visiting Tuscany I would recommend staying at this lovely place.

Loved our time at this fabulous VRBO!!!

The perfect place to stay for our time in Tuscany! Fabrizio was a warm and friendly host! We absolutely loved the house and gardens! We enjoyed exploring the hillside town nearby! It was conveniently located for exploring northern Tuscany.

Perfect stay in a perfect villa with a perfect host.

Perfect Tuscany Experience

This Tuscany gem was perfect, every aspect. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The view from our balcony patio was absolutely breath taking. I would recommend this location to anyone hoping to be fully immersed in a Tuscan experience!

Nice comfortable home in Tuscany landside

We had a very nice stay at the Poggio d‘Eremita. Fabrizio is a very nice host who made the stay unforgetable. Everything was fine, the place is stunning. We also got recommendations for visiting around Farnetella. A visit which I definitely can recommend to everyone.

Our stay at Il Poggio dell'Eremita was nothing short of magical! Its a beautifully appointed home, very clean and comfortable! The location is breathtaking, surrounded by mountains, olive groves and ancient walled cities. Our hosts were gracious and kind, available to answer questions, but also allowed privacy. Fabrizio went above and beyond to help us with a car issue, essentially making it a non-problem. Tranquil, peaceful, beautiful and convenient to many places of interest, I could not give a higher endorsement. We hope for the opportunity to return again to this amazing place!

This property truly was a dream! Nestled in the Tuscan hillside it provided a gorgeous and peaceful escape, while still being a 5 to 10 minute drive from any amenities we need. It was perfectly situated to explore the entirety of the Val d'Orcia by car!La famiglia Andreoni were so welcoming and so helpful, they truly made us feel like one of them! The hosts live on the property but, as other reviews say, they are in a completely separate part of the property and so we truly felt like we had the place to ourselves. Fabricio greeted us with such joy and we had absolutely no problem communicating with him via translation apps. He gave us an incredible number of recommendations for sights to see and things to do and food to eat while we were there. He also gave us a tour of his garden after he found out that we are also gardeners, and it was such a wonderful and warm welcome. The place itself was so comfortable and homey that we were sad we only booked five nights! We loved watching the sunset from the upper balcony and greeting the morning with the rooster and chickens on the property. The three cats that frequented the property also added charm and kept us company as we all sunned ourselves on the back patio! What a magical place, and we absolutely know that we will be returning to stay for longer. Looking forward to it!

Amazing Villa in the Heart of Tuscany

The host was very welcoming upon arrival and gave us a great tour of the property along with some area history. Such a peaceful setting. Really enjoyed the patio upstairs off the bedroom. Great views of the terrain by day and fantastic views of the stars at night. Very close to the enchanting villages on hilltops nearby (Rigamagno and Scrofiano).

Beautiful stay

We received a warm welcome from the family and a thorough explanation of the facilities, the surrounding area and places of interest. Fabrizio communicated easily with us using the translation phone app. The apartment is very clean, well equipped and offers a genuine Italian experience. Simply wonderful.

The perfect getaway

We had a lovely stay in this home. Fabrizio is incredibly welcoming and kind. The views were amazing, and there were multiple outdoor seating areas to enjoy the scenery. If you're looking for a more remote stay, this is for you. A 20-40 minute drive will get you to nearby towns, sights, and restaurants, so having a method of transportation allows you to fully enjoy the area.

Perfect spot close to so many towns (Pienza, Montepulciano, Siena)

We absolutely loved our stay! Fabrizio was a wonderful host, he met us outside and showed us where to park. Gave us a brief history of the house and quick tour. He recommended an amazing local restaurant and quaint little town to visit, Lucignano, that you can see up on the hill from the house. Hardest part about the stay is deciding which towns to visit!

Lovely setting and home; Great host.

We would recommend this VRBO to anyone seeking relaxation and a great location from which to explore Tuscany. The apartment itself is carefully decorated with top-line fittings throughout and appears exactly as pictured. The wine for purchase on site is a nice touch. Fabrizio was delightful and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful and fun to explore.

Hello everyone, my name is Fabrizio, I am 56 years old and what you see in the picture is my wonderful family. With them I decided to venture into this new experience by making available to the guests the house in which I grew up, the long restoration in which we have engaged in recent years, has given me the opportunity to express what for me means to host. I add that I am a sports person, I love walking and cycling and I will be happy to recommend interesting routes in my area to guests who decide to choose my house.

On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a large and bright living room and a bathroom with shower. On the first floor, accessible only through a stairway, there is a large bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. From the first floor you access the panoramic terrace. The romantic patio and the large garden surrounding the property are the ideal place to enjoy pleasant and relaxing outdoor meals thanks to the barbecue available to guests.
