Nice Apartment in the City center

The Apartment was really nice and clean. It is located in the City Center, so everything is reachable via foot or metro. The Hosts Are super Kind and friendly and help with everything!

Great place Centrally located

We enjoyed this property. The street can be noisy but with shutters and windows closed it was fine. Only drawback is the second bedroom does not have AC.

Casa de Sombreria, Madrid

It was a great apartment. French doors from living room and master bedroom leading to balconies overlooking the street. Close to a great market and well situated to museums and lots of interesting Madrid sights. Apartment was well appointed with comfy beds , great bathrooms, plenty of dishes and kitchen equipment. The only real drawback was that the apartment is right over a bistro, and there was a lot of late night revelry. I bought a pair of ear plugs and that helped a lot. Otherwise, the apartment was really nice.

It could have been wonderful …

The property is very welcoming, very well located, very clean and its description is totally correct.The problem lies with the host MC Luxury Properties/Madflats Collection, which represents itself as a professional management company but in fact acts as a junior lacking any proactive quality. The property comes with a combined washer/dryer which did not function properly over and above the fact that no written instructions in English or French were available. We texted Madflats about the malfunction and twice they sent persons who were not qualified to solve the issue despite communicating by an application with higher-ups at the office. By the end of our seven nights stay we had never obtained dried clothes ( no clothing racks are provided ). We also faced a flushing defect with one of the toilets. Madflats promised to send someone over not the next day but the day after and no one ever showed up. One can well imagined how many hours were lost to visit Madrid and at what cost. Of course, Madflats never offered any form of compensation.Otherwise, it was a superb time in the great City of Madrid.

Good apartment, poor communication

Nice apartment, good location in the diverse, multiethnic Lavapies neighborhood. Barking dogs & very late night trash collection sometimes made it noisy, so had to keep windows closed. Biggest issue is the lack of communications with Madflats management. Filling out an online form before arrival had many issues uploading documents; we were not provided a correct wifi password until we were able to reach them by phone. There was no set of instructions in the apartment about what to do with trash, what to do when we left, how to use the TV, washer/dryer, and other equipment. We messaged them & after 48 hours later were told about a box hidden in a hard to reach shelf in a closet with manuals for the appliances. Never heard from management what the 5 keys left on the table were for. Never heard from them when we left after 12 days of renting the place. (In contrast, Genteel Home apartments provided an online manual of instructions, helpful tips, and regulations for the place we rented from them in another city & they immediately returned a call even on a Sunday!) Some minor improvements needed (cooking pans are in bad shape, dining chairs need to be replaced - very uncomfortable - paper towels & other basic kitchen supplies would be useful, nothing is provided, but a supermarket is really close).

Vacaciones Semana Santa 2018

Nos ha gustado mucho este alojamiento en cuanto a situación y sobre todo el diseño moderno del apartamento, que además es muy funcional. Al apartamento no le falta de nada y nos hemos encontrado muy a gusto en nuestros días de vacaciones. ¡Lástima que no hayamos parado mucho en casa para disfrutarlo más! La atención y disponibilidad de Víctor ha sido encomiable y ha hecho que los problemas sean menores. De todos modos, y a modo de indicación, sí sería recomendable solucionar el problema de las llaves del apartamento que no funcionaban y el funcionamiento de la conexión wifi.

Great location really small second bedroom!

We had difficulty reaching the manager to be able to gain access to the unit. We texted our arrival time from the train station and we went to the apt without hearing anything from the manager. Fortunately someone was sent to meet us. The unit was very clean, a great location, but the second bedroom was really small! It should not be classified as a bedroom and we needed to get dressed in the bathroom. The toilet seat was not connected to the toilet. This was such a disappointment.

Pæn lejlighed beregnet for 2 par eller familie med 2 børn. Moderne køkken med alt hvad man har brug for, et stort dejligt soveværelse med udgang til fransk altan samt et mindre soveværelse uden vindue til det fri. Begge værelser har tilknyttet et moderne badeværelse med brusebad og wc. Desuden dagligstue med stor fladskærm. Beliggende centralt for indkøbsmuligheder, metro, taxa, caféer og restauranter. Dog en del larm om natten fra festglade mennesker og trafik. Alt i alt kan vi anbefale denne lejlighed og kommer gerne igen.

Tolle Lage, schöne Wohnung - aber ein paar Abzüge

Im Madrider Stadtteil Lavapies lässt es sich gut leben, ein kultureller Schmelztiegel mit netten Kneipen und Cafés, dazu sehr stadtnah und nur knapp 10 Geh-Minuten vom Atocha-Bahnhof gelegen mit toller Anbindung an jeden wichtigen Punkt der Stadt. Die Wohnung ist groß genug für vier Personen mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern, einer gut ausgestatteten Küche und einem großen Wohn-Essbereich. Alle wichtigen Geschäfte sind in der Nähe. Während unseres Aufenthalts fielen drei Dinge negativ ins Gewicht: eine Balkontür ließ sich nicht öffnen, es war ein wenig stickig bei über 30 Grad. Dazu ist es am Wochenende im Szeneviertel sehr laut. Und - klingt banal, ärgert aber: die Türschlüssel ließen sich äußerst schwer bedienen. Darf nicht sein, so etwas. Dennoch aus Überzeugung vier Punkte.

Superbe appartement

Prestation à la hauteur des photos. L accueil le suivi personnalisé par l agence MATFLAT est exceptionnel. Avant l arrivée pendant et après on prend soin de vous en permanence. L appartement est propre bien équipé et à proximité de l hyper centre de Madrid (10mn à pied de Sol) et la station métro Lavapies en bas de l appartement. 0 problème 0 défaut...Bravo

Duplicate unorganized check in

Property is recently remodeled in an old building, which was fine, but kind of a surprise. Seems like this is managed by a larger company trying to be hi tech but not quite there yet. I took a lot of time to fill out all of the paperwork and photos and sign before leaving the US for all 3 of us. Only to be emailed that it wasn't complete and we would need to wait at least 30 minutes for someone to come. It seemed like they ignored what I sent and they just wait for you to call, then once they know you are there they make you wait for 30 mintes while they send someone. Which I can understand, but just say that. Then I was required to redo the paperwork....and he wanted another security deposit...and that took awhile for them to communicate I had already done that. I own a rental business too and can understand errors, but it just seemed like they put the onous on the customer.

Desde el primer minuto que realice la reserva, ya se estaban poniendo en contacto conmigo, la atención, la ayuda y el trato han sido incomparable, el apartamento es muy amplio, luminoso y sobre todo lo encontré muy limpio, Con todos los utensilios necesarios y hasta más, la estancia estuvo muy agradable ya que no nos hizo falta de nada. Wunderschöne Wohnung in Top-Lage

Die Ferienwohnung ist geräumig und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Check-In verlief unkompliziert. Der Botanische Garten und das Museum Reina Sofia befinden sich Laufnähe. Madrid ist eine sehr schöne, sehenswerte Stadt und die Wohnung liegt recht zentral. Das Auto kann in der öffentlichen Tiefgarage des Reina Sofia geparkt werden (ca. 30 € für 24 Stunden, andere Parkhäuser sind teurer).

Lovely, well presented appartment, with two great bedrooms and a fantastic kitchen and living space

Great accommodation as listed, very convenient location, just round the corner from the Metro, although we only used it to the Airport, we walked everywhere else. Area is a little mixed in the evening, but we never felt threatened and would happily stay again.
