What a lovely place to stay for our daughter‘s college graduation!! The property was clean, spacious, and a perfect retreat from all the revelry!! Staying at this property added so much convenience and comfort to our weekend!! I highly recommend it for anyone!

A great place to stay when visiting Cornell

Another Great Visit

We enjoyed our return visit even more than our first. The entire house and deck are extremely comfortable -- we grilled and ate our dinners outside -- and really treasured the quiet neighborhood.

College Move in

Location is perfectly quiet and relaxing but not far from campus (5 min drive to college town). Back porch is amazing for morning coffee and dinner/evening wind down. Well appointed kitchen really has everything since its Mary's home. Mary was lovely to interact with, had many helpful hints, and prepared the home perfectly for us when she knew we were getting in later than expected.

Amazing

Everything about this stay was fantastic. The location is truly perfect- close enough to Cornell and downtown, but still a nice secluded retreat once you're ready to wind down your day. The home itself was clean and had eveything we needed. And Mary was very communicative and even let us check out late so our young girls could get a nap in before heading to the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home for a Family Celebration!

We stayed for 4 nights and 5 days at this wonderful family home. It is located in a neighborhood 5-10 minutes from Cornell and downtown Ithaca. It was immaculate Upon arrival and had a beautifully stocked kitchen that made food preparation for the family easy and fun! The open kitchen/ family room/ living room layout and gorgeous outside deck and yard made It ideal for entertaining! Mary was a wonderful host and extremely communicative. Both check in and check out were easy. I would highly recommend this home!!

Ithaca college graduation weekend

Mary’s house is in a wonderful residential neighborhood very close to the center of Ithaca! Her home is lovely and clean and warm and inviting. The back of her home has a lovely deck and is adorned by many bird feeders. It’s very peaceful back there and is a good way to take a personal time out when necessary! :) Mary arranged a phone call with us prior to our stay to answer any questions we had and to tell us a little bit about her home and where we could find certain things. Mary was also very quick to respond to our texts during our stay when we had a question. I’d say we had a 10 out of 10 weekend at Mary’s and would absolutely recommend staying there! Happy trails everyone!

Great choice !

Three friends and I had a short stay in Ithaca. This house was perfect. We arrived late at night and had no problem finding the place or getting in. Communication the whole way with Mary was easy and very pleasant. She asked if we needed groceries. I didn’t think so but she left us some wonderful bagels and some basics. Turned out we loved it and so appreciative of doing that . House is very nice, clean and comfortable. Much better than staying in a very nice hotel because we’re all together and have some space . Special part of the house is the backyard with birds and bird feeders. I probably saw twenty different species of birds in the am w a cup of great coffee. Also - close to town / campus and easy to get too. I don’t get to Ithaca often but if I did I’d def want to stay at this house .

Location !!

If you are booking for location, stop reading and book it NOW! Anyone who knows the area will snap it up before you have a chance to book. That is exactly what we did. Everything else was just the most amazing bonus. We were traveling for Cornell graduation with grandparents and siblings. The house was the perfect set up. First of all, there are just a couple of easy steps to get into the house and then the grandparents did not have any other stairs to navigate. Once inside, there are 3 rooms downstairs (we used 2 for the grandparents, and one for the brother - but one of the rooms is a twin over full so you can do 2 in full and/or one in twin bunk), and 1 queen bed upstairs in a loft in the "Bird room". The kitchen/dining/living room was perfect for a little family party. We served apps and a buffet with more than enough room for everyone. Plenty of plates, cups, silverware, serving stuff, super easy to feed everyone - made full breakfast for the whole crew every morning. Mary had left us great coffee to brew. It was raining, but the outdoor space is spectacular, again, easy access for the grandparents, but weather would not allow. There is also another huge living room which we did not even use. Also downstairs is what we called the "Bird room" - Huge beautiful windows overlooking a lawn filled with bird feeders - we were obsessed - we used a bird app to ID the birds and they were gorgeous. And finally, Mary - she was the BEST!! Enjoy!!

Great home in a great location

Mary was very kind and responsive during the booking process and leading up to our trip. She had ample supplies for the kitchen, bathroom, cleaning, etc which made it easy to stay in her lovely home. I highly recommend booking a trip here!

Loved our stay, hard to leave!

We loved staying at Mary's place - we had a group of 8 adults and everyone felt very comfortable and taken care of. We loved the interior design, but the backyard is the best part of the property. We watched the fireflies after the sun went down with glasses of wine. Fabulous place, would love to stay again.

Perfect setting for our family to relax together

We were so impressed by this home and so thankful Mary was happy to open it up to renters. We had three families traveling from different states and it was a wonderful place for our mini reunion together. Plenty of places for everyone to sleep. The yard was great, and we had ages 3-62 chasing the thousands of fireflies in the evening! It was also convenient to have a park nearby for the kids.

Wonderful Hosts!

We very much enjoyed our stay here during graduation weekend. The hosts added many nice personalized touches like fresh lovely flowers and personalized graduation napkins. Communication was easy and responses prompt. The house is spacious, clean and perfectly situated for Cornell graduation, as the ride to campus parking avoids all the traffic and takes 5 minutes. Highly recommended.

Perfect Family & Friend House for Cornell Reumiom

The property was perfect for my family (m, my husband and 3 boys 12-15). The house was spacious, comfortable, and the perfect spot to relax between reunion activities. Cornell is a short 7-10min drive. The owner is thoughtful in her focus on comfort and pretty decorations. Also, there is a beautiful backyard and adjoining community playground/ basketball court (which my boys enjoyed!). Mary, the owner, was thoughtful in every interaction from ensuring we safely arrived in the dark (she kept the lights on!) and the east check-in/ check-out. My 3 boys, who don't always notice details, we're particularly vocal about how much they enjoyed the house. Thank you!

Graduation Stay

This property was perfect for our stay for graduation. There was plenty of room for 6 adults. The owner has thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and the back deck was the perfect place to sit with morning coffee and watch the birds. The check in and check out was seamless. The location was close to downtown and to Ithaca College for graduation events. I'd love to come back and stay just to explore the area more! I highly recommend this property!

Girls Waterfalls Weekend

Owner was very responsive. Went above and beyond to give directions and make suggestions on local restaurants. She was very easy to communicate with quick responses. Great place for entertaining!

The property was excellent in every way -- as advertised, clean, great location, and plenty of open space to hang with friends. Our favorite was the deck and backyard on a perfect Fall day!
