Giannis Kohilis a joiner. Born in Chicago in 1960, moved in Skopelos in 1965. Married to Pipitsa who is born in Volos and has been in Skopelos for the last 30 years, being a bank employee. We have 2 sons, Giorgos who studies Physics and Vangelis who loves playing bouzouki.
My father transfered to me the property in 1990, which had been in my family for over 150 years. It consisted in a piece of land with olive trees and an old cottage, built in 1905. Me and my wife renovated carefully the cottage (Mulberry tree) in 1992 and built the other 2 cottages in 2001. We have designed the external and interior features and taken care personally in furnishing and decorating all of them, in simplicity, to improve them from a family holiday place, to a spacious and comfortable resting lodge

The property belongs to my family for about 2 centuries and the location is the most beautiful in the middle of the island, in a green environment with many springs around and a small river, where the old times the family passed the summer holidays.
We had spent many memorable times at the old cottage, with the family and many friends, enjoying the beauty of the countryside, so we decided to rent the property with the idea of sharing all the wonderful experiences Skopelos has to offer.
One may take short or long walks in the natural landscape, with paths leading through the hills, pass by picturesque chappels, other cottages and many springs.

Olive fields and forested land extend to the right and left and above our land ensuring seclusion. All 3 cottages are surrounded by many trees and plants, the pool and sunbathing area, composing a very secluded and peaceful place.
You have the company of the cicadas in the daytime.
Early in the morning and in the afternoons you can enjoy the delight chirping of the nightingales.
On clear and cloudless nights, you can enjoy stargazing in an absolutely absent wind atmosphere.
Tranquillity at its best but just a short distance from all amenities and beaches.
A beautiful place in pure nature, total privacy, deep quiet.
