This was our second time staying at Wind Beneath our Wings. First was just my husband and I in 2021 for our 30th anniversary. We stayed the last week of October and it was fabulous. This time we brought our two sons, daughter in law and grandson and stayed a month earlier. Both times we had our dog and it was perfect for him.Beth makes sure that everything is perfect for your stay and is very good at communicating with you. We could not ask for a better house, location or host.The pool was a new addition this time around and we really enjoyed relaxing in and around it.We hope to make it back again!

We had such a great time. Very close to beach! Loved the gift the owners left us to remember them by! Very welcoming altogether.

Great place to stay, great location!

Location of the house was great. Nice private beach access. House also has 2 nice enclosed porches so that you can enjoy the views without dealing with bugs. Beth and Bill were great hosts, quick responses to questions and provided information about Holden Beach prior to arrival. The pool was very well maintained.

Great place

Wind beneath my wings is a very nice place to stay. Location is great as is Beth. The pool is wonderful.

Great Beach House

Wonderful beach house and as described. We had a great time relaxing at the house, pool and the beach. Located in a great spot on Holden Beach.

Great stay at Holden!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Wind Beneath My Wings! The heated pool was a huge hit and we loved the convenience of being right on the beach. Beth is very responsive and a wonderful host, highly recommend!

Beautiful Location

We loved our stay in this house. The beach was quiet and we found so many good shells. The pool area was so nice, but the beach view really stole the show. The house was great- clean, well stocked and comfortable. The owners were so informative, promptly answering all my questions and making the whole stay easy. We will definitely be back!

Great Family Trip!

This is the perfect house for a family vacation! Right on the beach and love the pool option for our 8 month old who couldn't go in the ocean. Loved walking to the ice cream shop and general store! There are also great local restaurants nearby. Beth was fantastic with communication and checking on us! We will definitely be back.

Cozy ocean front house. Easy beach access. Beth was wonderful checked on us to see if we needed anything. Great location and saltwater pool that was great. Nice enclosed porch to enjoy watching storms on the ocean. Nice deck on roadside of the house as well. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend this little gem.

We Love It Here!

This was our third time staying at Wing Beneath My Wings beach house. Beth always goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome and check in to see if we need anything. We love the location - 500 black is the best! My kids love having the heated pool and beach just steps from the entrance! Comfy and cozy, our Holden Beach home away from home!

Perfect place for some vitamin sea.

This is the second year we've spent our spring vacation at Wind Beneath My Wings. We love the cottage, the location is wonderful. Holden Beach is a great little escape from the world for a bit. Beth and Bill are wonderful, so helpful with letting you know where to go and what's goi g on in the area.

Last trip of the summer

Can’t beat the walk out access to the beach and the pool to take a dip in in the hot afternoon! Walkable to cute little ice cream shop and general store and easy drive to several restaurants. Great location and great family rental! Beth was also very attentive!

Relaxing and cozy

The house was cozy and clean. We had our fur babies and family. They loved the house and so close to the beach. Loved the salt water pool. Our pups loved the house as well. Beth was so wonderful. Will definitely go back. We had a great week. The house was close to restaurants and shops and grocery store.

Spacious house; right on the beach

Spacious house. Nice decorations. Loved the decks and pool. Very easy to get to the ocean. Owner is nice and attentive. We really enjoyed this house and Holden Beach.

WBMW was great!

A great place for a relaxing week at the beach. Beth went above and beyond to make sure everything was simple and easy even telling us the best places to eat! We will definitely be back!!! If I could rate more than 5 stars I would!

Best Vacation Ever

The house was perfect. Perfect location on the beach and this house had everything we needed both inside and outside. Did I mention the beautiful heated pool? Restaurants, grocery store, gift shops…..almost anything you need is very close by also. I honestly did not want to leave!

Beautiful ocean front cottage!

Communication with the owners was great. The amenities in the upper unit are excellent! From the Florida room over looking the beach, to the salt water pool in the front. It was just what we (and our doggo) were hoping it would be. We'll be looking to stay here again when we come back 🙂
