Check-in was smooth, though across the street, and the location is great with general stores, a tasty walk-up food/ice cream spot (funnel cake is a must!), and an Irish pub next door. The pools, lazy river, and hot tub were clean but small and crowded at times. Gas grills with fuel were a nice touch, though the gym is tiny, and the spray-off area in the pool zone isn’t ideal. The condo itself has nice decor and comes equipped with most essentials, though only a half roll of toilet paper per bathroom and no pizza pan. The manager was responsive, informing us about soiled couches from the previous stay and offering sheets to cover them, which we appreciated. However, the cleaning was subpar. As someone with residential cleaning experience, I noticed months of dust on surfaces, gooey dirt and hair on white cabinets, and sticky appliances. The floors were unswept with significant sand and spills, requiring daily cleaning during our stay. The only thing I think I didn't do was clean the outdoor patio/furniture, doors, high dusting and a few baseboards which have long been neglected. This was disappointing, as prior reviews praised the cleaning (I booked over the winter). Parking was frustrating, with limited spots across the street and chaotic loading/unloading due to Saturday check-ins, including 20-minute elevator waits. The building’s hallways and staircases were also somewhat dirty. With a bit more cleaning effort, this could be a fantastic stay :-)
