Old Town Jewel

This tidy and modern apartment, in Alghero’s Old Town, is steps from the beautiful Sardinian Sea and many wonderful patio restaurants. The narrow street in front of the apartment building frames a gorgeous cathedral tower at one end, while the other direction features a modest church of the same era. A perfect location for walking by the water, for shopping or passing the day in a cafe.

best located, modern and convenient apartment

really nice apartment in the heart of Alghero old town - exactly as written in the internet description. The apartment is very clean and has almost everything you need, we only missed WLAN. The owner is a very friendly and uncomplicated person who makes your stay as convenient as possible, gives you all information you need as tourist and it was no problem to contact her if necessary. There are many good and economic restaurants near the apartment, it's not far to the beach and free parking is possible outside the old town. We enjoyed trips to Bosa and Grotta Nettuno/Capo Caccia where the landscape is incredible. We can really recommend the apartment, the town an the island.

Totally unsatisfactory 1. We were not happy with the Apartment and it didn’t meet the VRBO description & VRBO photographs, nor our expectations. 2. When we arrived at 7pm, there was female underwear hanging on the Building front door, which was left open. this was still hanging there two days later. 3. No Safety or security - We asked the host Allessandra for a key to the Building main entrance door, she said there is no key for us and that the door is left open. That was a significant safety concern for us. 4. The shower only had enough hot water for one person the next morning. 5. The shower head did not work, the button was seized. 6. There was only one bedside table and the bed so small. 7. The Via Principe Umberto street is not as per yours or the VRBO description.

Une semaine en famille vraiment top. L’appartement est idéalement situé. Au cœur du centre historique avec ses magasins, ses restaurants…. Mais dans une rue calme. Appartement très sympa avec tout ce qu’il faut pour passer une semaine idéale. Le clou du spectacle c’est l’accueil, la disponibilité, le sourire la bonne humeur d’Alessandra!! Elle parle plusieurs langues. Grace a elle notre séjour a été d’autant plus appréciable. Merci 😀

Die Wohnung hat voll und ganz der Beschreibung entsprochen. Perfekt für ein Paar. Sehr sauber und bequeme Betten. Die Lage in der Altstadt könnte nicht besser sein. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war von Anfang an hervorragend. Jederzeit wieder. Für unseren nächsten Besuch in Alghero wollen wir auf jeden Fall wieder in diese Wohnung

Appartement très confortable dans la vieille ville!

Ce petit appartement situé dans la vieille ville est charmant et près de toutes les commodités, restos, boutiques, etc. On a pu laisser notre voiture de location dans un stationnement gratuit au port pour toute la durée de notre séjour. Magnifique plage à proximité. Très bonne communication avec Antonella. Nous recommandons vivement.

Kleines aber feines Apartment mitten in der Altstadt

Alghero und seine Umgebung sind eine Reise wert, besonders, wenn man so privilegiert wohnen kann! Das Apartment liegt mitten in der lebendigen Altstadt von Alghero. Wenige halb verschlafene Schritte am Morgen und man sitzt neben der Chiesa del Carmelo vor einem köstlichen Cappuccino und Croissant. Der Tag kann beginnen. Die lauen Abende verbringt man mit Schlendern auf den Bastioni Marco Polo und lässt danach den Tag in einem der ausgezeichneten Restaurants ausklingen. Mit wenigen Schritten erreicht man danach das kleine Apartment. Es ist praktisch und ansprechend eingerichtet, blitzsauber und verfügt über alle notwendigen Annehmlichkeiten. Zu Beginn des Aufenthalts erklärt Lisa freundlich die Eigenheiten der italienischen Mülltrennung und weitere nützliche Dinge. Auch der Kontakt mit der Besitzerin Antonella ist sehr freundlich. Sie ist fast jederzeit per WhatsApp erreichbar und gibt schnell und unkompliziert Auskunft. Übrigens lohnt es sich, Antonellas Liste der guten Restaurants genau zu studieren und ihrem Rat zu folgen. Wir haben jeden Tag köstlich gegessen! Schon nach wenigen Tagen gehört auch der Fremde ein bisschen dazu, die Nachbarschaft in den engen Gassen ist nah und wiederkehrende Personen werden schnell als solche erkannt. Alghero, wir kommen wieder und werden sicher wieder bei Antonella wohnen.

Sehr schöne und saubere Wohnung

Ein ganz toller Aufenthalt in der Wohnung ,die Beschreibung trifft voll zu. Wenn man mit 2 Kindern in der Wohnung kochen und essen will, ist sie evt. zu klein, uns war es egal da es soviel leckeres in nächster Umgebung gibt. Sehr netter Kontakt mit Antonella, die uns zahreiche und hilfreiche Infos ab. Gerne wieder.

Perfect!

Alghero is a beautiful city and great for exploring the surrounding area. Antonella gave us so much information and tips that we didn't even feel the need to use our travel guide. The apartment is very well furnished and has everything you need for a nice vacation. It is located in a calm little street in the historic centre. Only a few steps away you can find a lot of good restaurants, bars and shops and not to forget the promenade with a beautiful panorama of the sea. We had a great time and highly recommend this accommodation!

During my holidays I started shooting sardinia and I fell in love with it.
I loved it for the color of the sea, the scent of the Mediterranean scrub, the kitchen and the mild climate even in winter.
The first time I visited Alghero I was struck by the beauty of the sea and the historic center, I live even in winter.
So I decided to buy a house and give the opportunity to other guests to visit this beautiful city, which in addition to a splendid sea, offers art and culture.
I look forward to seeing you in Alghero.

Alghero is connected to the airport by a bus, which leaves every hour.
The historic center is a ZTL area and can only be entered at certain times, only for loading and unloading.
There is a large parking lot near the port and parking lots in the areas surrounding the historic center.
In summer the beaches are connected by bus or reachable by bike.
The available space is at the complete disposal of the guests.
You will be welcomed by Valeria who will welcome you with suggestions and information to make your stay more enjoyable.
