Most beautiful location, gorgeous cottage, absolutely loved it

Had a lovely time in the mot gorgeous surroundings and beautiful cottage. Definitely recommend it and would love to to visit again.

A fabulous property

The property has fabulous views of the lake and nearby fells. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen, dining, sitting area are very spacious. We had an issue with the Nespresso coffee machine and a replacement was provided the following day, excellent customer service. There is a pub and restaurant in walking distance and a short drive to Pooley Bridge. New Tesla EV superchargers are now open at Rheged (about 5 miles from property) which was very convenient. We will definitely consider staying at this property again.

Stunning place

Absolutely fantastic place great views in a morning lovey warm and toasty house absolutely needed nothing great location deffo booking again from booking with Cumbrian cottages to my stay the place is luxurious and great location for walks love the underfloor heating thanks

Incredible 7 night stay

This was our third visit to this property and it never disappoints. Everything was wonderful and it’s a real home from home. Lovely and peaceful with the most stunning views and an extremely comfortable stay. The house had absolutely everything we needed and more. If you stay here you should not be disappointed.

Our fourth amazing stay at this wonderful property!

This was our fourth stay at this property and yet again it did not disappoint. Everything was perfect. It is an extremely comfortable and cosy place to stay with the most incredible views to be seen from pretty much every single window. The view from the main upstairs bedroom window is just stunning. There are so many fantastic walks on the doorstep and pooley bridge is just a five minute bus ride away ( the bus stop is a two minute walk from the property) or a 40 minute walk via the Ullswater way route. I don’t see how anyone could stay here and not absolutely love it. We stay for a week and it is never enough time. We will definitely be back again.

A perfect home from home – our favourite getaway!

This was our fourth (or maybe even fifth!) stay at this wonderful cottage, and we already can’t wait to come back. From the moment you walk through the door, it doesn’t feel like a holiday rental at all – it truly feels like coming home. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained and absolutely spotless, with every little thing you could possibly need thoughtfully provided. The views are simply breathtaking, and the peaceful location makes it the ideal place to relax and unwind. Despite being tucked away in such a tranquil spot, it’s very convenient too – there’s a bus stop nearby which we use to explore the local area, and Pooley Bridge is just a short trip away with its great food spots and charming atmosphere. We also loved having the newly refurbished inn just a five-minute walk from the cottage – perfect for an evening meal or drink after a day of exploring. There’s no shortage of stunning walks right on the doorstep, and each time we visit we discover something new. All in all, this cottage is everything we could wish for in a holiday home – warm, welcoming, extremely comfortable, and perfectly located. Highly recommend! Booking through Cumbrian Cottage Holidays is always effortless, and the information they provide before and during the stay is plentiful and really helpful, which makes the whole experience smooth and stress-free.
