OrmrodsはWithypoolの村の中を通り抜けず車線を越えた高台に位置し、MoorとBarle川の向こうに広がる景色を望めます。 近年高水準に全面的に改装された、これは非常に快適な3ベッドルームの一戸建て住宅です。



Ormrodsは1エーカーのプライベートガーデン内にあり、そこから直接Barle川へと続きます。 リビングアコモデーションは1階にあり、南、東、西に向かってムーア川の広い景色を一望できます。 二つ折りドアは、リビングルームとダイニングエリアから、テーブルと椅子のある南向きのバルコニーに通じています。長い夏の夜を最大限にお楽しみくだ��い。

2010年を通して全面改装され改装されたこのホテルは、最大6名まで収容可能な非常に快適なホリデー宿泊施設です。 物件への入り口は1階です。この1階には、リビングルーム、キッチン - ダイニングルーム、ユーティリティ、���ブルベッドルーム1室、トイレと手洗いのあるシャワールームがあります。 階下にはさらに2つのベッドルームがあり、どちらも専用シャワールームがあります。



犬1匹あたり最大15匹の体調の良い犬まで、最大15匹のサプリメントをご利用いただけます。 犬を家具や寝室に入れないでください。 実用的な部屋は床暖房の下にあります、従って犬は彼らのベッドに通過する暖かさを楽しむことができます。 犬を家の中に放置したまま放置しないでください。 さらに、庭には独立して走るダブル犬小屋があります。

Good to have basic Sky package, but the TV is small for the room. Aga/Rayburn is quite difficult to use and the oven takes a long time to heat up. Having said that, there was plenty of hot water, and heating if desired. We enjoyed our stay.

This house is so well situated 2 minutes walk to the tea room with scrumptious sandwiches and cake, and a 5 minute walk to to Royal Oak pub great food and very friendly, and the post office/shop is well stocked with essentials and gifts, the garden runs down to the river which is full of little trout, the garden is a bit steep but most of the time is spent on the balcony taking in the amazing views. Very pleased.

It is a lovely house in a perfect spot, lovely tearoom, friendly pub which serves excellent food, and a well stocked shop/post office with all the essentials and gifts too, everywhere is dog friendly, Dulverton is a lovely little town, good tearooms, good food at The Bridge and for a special meal Woods at the top of the town is excellent and again a well stocked CoOp supermarket. The only issue is the garden is not totally dog proof, our energetic large dog easily managed to jump up the bank by the kennels and try to follow one of our party to the shop, luckily we were with him and saw him do it and the lane to the house is very quiet.

First visit to Ormrods although have been visiting Exmoor for over 30 years - we were delighted with the property which is very comfortable and well equipped. The weather was incredible and at times far too hot but the house provided some cool comfort especially when the bifold doors onto the terrace were fully open - the views are delightful, just hope the trees and shrubs do not encroach too much on the vista. We would not hesitate to recommend Ormrods and should like to thank the Owners for letting us share their home. We hope to return next year!

Withypool is a small moorland village in the heart of Exmoor National Park, set in a beautiful valley where the River Barle flows beneath a handsome six-arched medieval bridge.



The village has been a popular destination for countryside lovers for well over a century. The author R.D. Blackmore, who wrote Lorna Doone, stayed here, as did General Eisenhower, who used the area for D-Day training in the 1940s. At the centre of village life is The Royal Oak Inn, a welcoming 18th-century pub serving real ales, local ciders, and hearty food. The village also has a charming tea room and a small shop and post office selling everyday essentials, local honey, handmade soaps, and art.



Withypool sits at a natural crossroads in central Exmoor, making it an excellent base for exploring the moor in all directions. The River Barle is one of the finest rivers on Exmoor, and the walks along its banks -- south to the ancient Tarr Steps or north to the medieval Landacre Bridge -- are among the most beautiful in the National Park.



The nearest small town is Dulverton (approximately 7 miles), known as the southern gateway to Exmoor, where you will find a mini-supermarket, butcher, post office, chemist, cash machine, and a good selection of independent shops and restaurants. Minehead (approximately 12 miles) has larger supermarkets, petrol stations, and high street facilities.
