Made it through the storm

It was a great place to be during a tropical storm We used the garage for games and there were enough tables for all of our board and card games It was enjoyable watching the waves on the ocean Beautiful place with loads of room for our big family Hope to do it there again!

Best oceanfront view in Palmetto Dunes

11 Dinghy has plenty of room for everyone. 7 bedrooms all with their own bathrooms (the 7th bed/bath is in the lower level). In addition, there's a powder room off of the 1st floor kitchen. Was so nice having a kitchen on the 1st floor. Plenty of chairs around the pool to lounge. Last but not least there is a clear view of the ocean from the pool as well as from the kitchen and family room. No trees obstructing the view. You can't beat the view at this house!! Great communication with owner.

Family Memories

Palmetto Dunes is the best location on the island. Beautiful spacious home for our group of 8 adults and 4 children. Loved the ocean views from the balconies each morning. We did a lot of food prep, and the kitchen met our needs well. Could use more kitchen towels. Beds are very comfortable, and rooms are fairly soundproof with only the sound of the ocean while we slept. Composite decking is a huge plus. No splinters or dirty feet. AC kept us cool and the umbrellas outside shaded us from the sun. Lots of beach toys. We left a few more. Great shower to rinse off the sand and keep it out of the house. Fortunately, the owner is very responsive and understanding since the property manager failed to adequately handle a situation we had. Definitely would rent again someday.

Family Vacation

First, Tony the owner was extremely easy too deal with and had great follow-up anytime I had a question. The house was beautiful in a great section of Palmetto Dunes--very convenient to everything. Great views, right on the beach and great amenities. I would definitely recommend this property and owner to anyone looking for a first class vacation.

Our stay at 11 Dinghy Lane

The view was stunning. We loved the green space in the back yard. The family kept corn hole going the whole week. My grandsons used it to play catch and hitting and pitching baseball practice. The house was very spacious. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked. The elevator worked perfectly. Jim and I definitely put it to good use. We loved the location. We have been bringing the whole family for 14 years. Palmetto Dunes is our favorite place on the island. Our only negative comment is the step down into the family room. We had a couple of people who came extremely close to falling. It was potentially dangerous and we avoided it whenever we could. Overall, our stay was very pleasant. I would recommend 11 Dinghy Lane to anyone looking for a place to vacation in HHI.

Steps from the beach. Celebrated parents wedding anniversary with 4 families including 8 grand children ranging in age from 5 to 15. Home is well laid out with multiple master bedrooms and ample baths for everyone. Pool with spa was great for the little ones who didn't feel like venturing into the ocean. Beautiful ocean view from all master bedrooms. Beds were VERY comfortable. Game room downstairs kept kids entertained while parents made dinner in the large kitchen. Elevator was nice to be able to enter through the garage and take right up to your floor. Golf courses are just beautiful. Community is safe and quiet. Lots of local charters for fishing within minutes of the house. Bring or rent your bikes as there are walking and biking paths everywhere. Highly recommend, especially if you are coming down with multiple families, very very roomy house that is well laid out. Highly recommend!

Million Dollar View

The location of this property is what dreams are made of. Easy access to the beach and local amenities. Bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone were perfect. Large living room provided the space needed by our group of 17. Family said it was the best vacation spot ever. Thanks Tony for opening up your home to us.

Fantastic Property

Stayed here in June 2022 with all family members and their children. 14 total with 8 adults and 6 children. Everyone had a great time at the pool and the beach. The house layout was very comfortable. A/C works great so the house stayed cool in all rooms all the time. All the amenities and games you could ever need for the pool and beach were already at the house. Beach chairs, bocce ball, boogie boards, skim boards, frisbees, etc... Board games in the house. The right amount of TV's / DVD's. Deck around the pool stayed cool because it's the right color. No nails popping up anywhere. All around a fantastic property.

Hilton Head Family Vacation

Our group consisted of my sisters, their husbands, and young adult children and their SOs - 6 couples total. The property was perfect for our group! We loved having the pool and hot tub and easy beach access. Tony, the owner, was great! Highly recommend this house!

Perfect location. Beautiful home

Our extended family of 19 enjoyed a week is this beautiful home in Palmetto Dunes. Every morning we enjoyed breakfast while looking out at the ocean or eating outside by the pool. The kitchen is very well stocked and they have an assortment of pool toys and beach toys/games to use and beach chairs. Bedrooms are spacious and attached bathrooms provide everyone their own space.

Wonderful location

We had a great time at 11 Dinghy. The location is wonderful, and communication with the owner and property manager were very smooth. Good home for a multi-generational family trip.

My wife and I stepped onto the Island in 1973 and fell in love with it and her brothers follow in 1976 and went into real estate sale who we purchase a number of properties and finally the best the 11 Dinghy lot in Palmetto Dunes where we built our house. we chose PD for the privacy of the gated properties and vegetation and it's superior beach on the Island. Additionally, it's close proximity to the quaint town of Savannah.

The house was designed by my college roommate from Clemson University Architect school who designed many high end homes in Florida and Charleston SC and other coastal areas. I am an Engineering graduated from Clemson University and I project managed the house myself and maintain it with my expertise.

This is a great family rental property with 7 bedrooms 7.5 baths sleeping 18 and for its open floor plan and 2 large eating areas for a large group. It has an elevator from ground floor to the top floor for elderly and disable. Special foam insulated attic so there are no second-floor high temperature issues on a hot 100 F summer day. This is a big problem maintaining 70 F to 72 F ambient temp with all second-floor houses with standard attic floor insulation. Th ocean view is unobstructed in a 25 ft of glass in the great room and full glass sliders in the master bedroom and kitchen as well as the 2 OF BR's on the second floor.
NOTE: THE DECK WITH POOL IS AT THE SAME LEVEL AS THE KITCHEN SO NO GOING DOWNSTAIRS TO BRING FOOD OR DRINKS TO THE DECK AND POOL.
