Es war in Ordnung, aber leider auch nicht mehr. Wir mussten leider das Bad erstmal richtig saubermachen, es war eine Zumutung. Alt kann ein Bad sein, aber nicht dreckig. Am Abend des Check in mussten wir auch erstmal eine Kakerlake töten, die in unserem Apartment unterwegs war. Leider war in der zweiten Woche doch Baulärm, kann man leider nicht ändern.

Family trip

Very nice and clean apartment with a beautiful views. If it was myself i would definitely stay again. However, for my dad it wasn't ideal as to far away from funchal centre. For people who struggle with legs knees etc taxi or car must be available. Otherwise it was a lovely. Thank you x

Family stay with kids and grandparents.

It is a nice and clean apartment with a beautiful vew. However, if you have any health issues etc problem with feet, knees, legs you will definitely require taxi when coming back from Funchal Monte or anywhere else really. It is quite a long hill to climb up. P.S. Make sure you don't spin on swinging chair as the screw spins and eventually comes off causing someone to get hurt (my daughter fell and wooden bar with metal screw hit her on her head).

Great view and awesome location

The appartement is very nice and the view over funchal is awesome.also the location is great. Yes a bit steep but more than worth it. The living room is very nice and cosy. During the night you hear a lot of dogs. We had a great stay.

Great place - amazing view!

Can't beat that view - even though you have to walk up a pesky hill from the city center, sitting and reading a good book in the comfortable swing with the best view in Funchal makes it all worth it!

Great for a week vacations of a family of 4

Nothing is perfect and this apartment is no exception. It's placed on a steep and narrow street, with limited parking (as the rest of Funchal for that matter) and with two flights of stairs with no elevator. But the accommodations are pretty sweet. It's got an open living and dining room, with a large enough sofa and table to seat everybody. Two bed rooms, one with a double bed, the other with two singles. Sure, it's all furnished with Ikea but everything is functional. The kitchen is fully equipped, only lacking in those small items one can't share with other guests: tables cloths, napkins, those sort of things.The refrigerator is somewhat noisy. Bothersome during the night. The only bathroom is roomy but a little poor on furniture, making it somewhat uncomfortable for a small family. The shower is on a tub and age starting to settle. And it tends to smell somewhat like a sewer sometimes. Keeping the windows open throughout the day solved that. But the best part is the view you get over the city. That was pretty sweet. We even got to see a Saturday night fireworks show from the "balcony". That was lovely. Finally, my kids and wife thought it was great and one of the best we've encountered on our holidays. That says something, right?

An apartment with a view

We were so impressed with the size and cleanliness of the apartment and the view from the window was fabulous ! The representative who gave us the keys could not have been more helpful and had good English. On arrival home we tried to book again for next year but there was no availability for the dates we wanted. Proof that it's a good place to stay. ( The dates we wanted were 30th May to 13th June 2018 )

Magnifique séjour à Funchal et ses environs

Notre séjour à l appartement à été superbe. La vue est juste splendide les levers de soleil sublime. L appartement est bien conçu et cosy et impeccablement propre. Le seul point négatif est l odeur d égout très désagréable dans la salle de bain mais en laissant la fenêtre ouverte cela passe..... L appartement est situé au 3eme étage sans ascenseur mais cela ne nous a pas déranger dans une petite rue très calme. Carolina qui nous a accueillie était très aimable et nous a donner de bonnes adresses.... Dans la cuisine il manque quelques ustensiles à mon goût comme des bols une essoreuse à salade des plats de services mais on s adapté avec ce que l on avait... Dans la salle de bains un manque évident de rangement pour poser nos affaires de toilettes qui sont rester par terre..... Avons appréciez le hamac face à la mer la télévision et les lits très confortables. Nous reviendrons à Funchal c est sur car nous sommes rentrés depuis jours et mes pensées se trouvent encore là bas....

Buena experiencia

Apartamento reformado con muy buenas vistas, que se pueden disfrutar desde el columpio instalado. Todo muy limpio, Marta nos dió un muy buen recibimiento. Tercero sin ascensor, que se compensa por todo los dicho anteriormente
