great location to disconnect from everything 😀

we had the opportunity to stay at Jose’s location, it was great to be there with family, the swimming pool is great and enough to have fun , the view from the property is outstanding, be ready for some off-road drive since the property is all way through couple of hills, marbella and malaga not far to get to the beach or do some tourism’s

A Little gem & great value with a private pool, prepare for rustic charm.

Finca in spanish can mean “plot of land “ as well as farm and this is certainly that. Off the beaten track (10 minutes on a dirt track) so you’ll need a good car, and a good memory for the route back to the road as Sat nav’s and Google maps don’t work this far. The finca is spotlessly clean, charming, with its own pool and stunning views, surrounded by shady trees, and as such its superb value for money in Mijas surrounds. a good place for a very rural quiet stay. Its owner and builder Jose is rightly proud of it, having built it himself and planted the trees that surround and cool over 30 years ago. Everything works, good shower, oven, wifi excellent etc.. and Jose is keen to be on hand to fix anything swiftly. Its in the countryside so do expect mozzies, and there are a family of not feral but none the less demanding cats (6 of them!) so you’ll need to like moggies or be prepared to do some shoo-ing. Main bedroom double bed is very comfortable. Two bunk beds and two singles are..more tailored to youngsters / children. What you need to know: the arrival and key pick up arrangements are rudimentary, and this is by far best done in the light. You’ll need to be in good mobile contact with Jose as transfer involves driving to Alhuin Al Grande to meet him on a street, lead to the off road and the finca. All of which is arduous after a long or delayed flight and in darkness. Comms with Cubos homes was too lacking, but Jose’s willingness and attentiveness makes up for.

Le logement se trouve en pleine montagne donc calme et paix absolue. Une vrai maison de campagne dans le style espagnol avec une très belle piscine et une vue sur les montagnes d’oliviers. A refaire certainement !

De host José is een zeer aardige, vriendelijke man.. hij zag dat we kinderen bij ons hadden toen hij zelf een eetstoel een babybedje aanbood .. de accomodatie was zeer zéér schoon.

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez josé très accueillant très aimable vraiment une personne adorable. La communication avec l’agence était très lente mais avec l’hôte tout était fluide. Nous avions été surpris par le chemin menant à la maison très montagneux, un peu flippant la nuit au début mais avec l’habitude on s’y fait. La maison était nickel il y’avait tout ce qu’il fallait ( à part le four qui était manquant ) la piscine est parfaite la vue est incroyable. Il y’a pas mal de chats sauvage qui viennent dans le jardin mais ils sont gentils. En bref c’était super merci encore à josé pour tout.

Belle vue dans la campagne et les montagnes. Seule point négatif est la route pour arriver à la maison il faut emprunter une piste mal entretenu sur presque 1km
