Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I try to tell renters with multiple adults the situation with the bedrooms. Bedroom 3 is only accessible by walking through bedroom 2. These bedrooms share access to the 2nd bathroom. Typically, like you mentioned, this is not a problem for families that share our lake house, however, it could be a potential problem for 3 couples looking for a place to stay. The kitchen eating areas consist of a small 2 person table tucked in under the stair case, and an island area with 4 barstools. When we stay, I often use that island area for meal prep, instead of seating. There is also a 4 person table on the 2nd story loft, however, it is only accessible via the staircase. There is also an outside table that seats 4. Yes, the 7-8 stairs leading into the house are wide but there is only a small railing on the side, and I do believe they would present a problem for someone with mobility issues. I agree that both the outside stairs and the interior circular stair case that leads to the loft area present problems for someone with mobility issues. Thanks, I feel these are all good things for potential renters to know. You guys were great guests, and I appreciate you choosing Cooper's Cottage for your stay!!

Thank you. I agree, it is an older home but we have made every effort to make sure that it has an abundance of the small amenities that we can control. Lots of blankets, towels, a kitchen full of a variety of dishes and pots and pans, etc. There is a steep drop off behind the house, but we also have a sizeable front yard for the kids to play in and run around, but I completely agree, I would keep the kids out front and away from the cliff area! Thanks for the feedback. Yes, and again my apologies the dryer's heating element went out during your stay. We replaced the element, and now the dryer is working. I do apologize for the inconvenience of both the sink and dryer malfunctioning during your stay, but both are now fixed, and we appreciate you alerting us quickly so that we could remedy the situation for the next guests. Unfortunately, we were not able to fix the dryer over the holiday weekend. We also did a deep cleaning of the windows and baseboards after your stay based on the feedback above. Again thanks for letting us know. Yes, we did try to resurface the tubs, but that did not work well, and so now (during the slower winter season) they are being replaced. New pictures will be posted when the project is complete. The kitchen and loft area have high cathedral ceilings, and the heat rises to the top during the winter season. The kitchen can be shut off from the rest of the house with the French doors that lead into the space, and while the space is colder than the rest of the house during the winter months, it is not an issue in the summer. Again, thanks for the feedback and letting us know of the areas where we had issues so that we could remedy that for new guests!
