Beautiful Penthouse with sunny, South, terrace. Ideal for golfers, families, groups of friends and couples. Relax on the large sun terrace with private jacuzzi, explore the area, eat at the magnificent restaurant and enjoy the swimming pool and the beaches.

This attractive penthouse has 3 bedrooms, 1 with en-suite bathrooms, and patio doors leading directly to the superb terrace. The apartment also has another bathroom, a living/dining room and a kitchen. From the living room there are large patio doors onto the spacious terrace with incredible sea views. The terrace offers a barbecue, a dining table and chairs, sun loungers and a private Jacuzzi! There is also a beautiful communal swimming pool in the gardens of the urbanization, with stunning sea views. The apartment also offers secure private parking, wifi internet and a lift to facilitate access to the apartment. The building is composed of only 4 floors. This apartment offers an excellent location for relaxing or enjoying all of Calahonda's facilities.

There is a large choice of golf courses nearby. The town of Marbella is just a 15 minute drive from Calahonda. Calahonda is a perfect base for exploring the Costa del Sol Gibraltar is 50 minutes drive away. The apartment is also close to cities like Fuengirola, Benalmádena and Estepona. All in Calahonda including fantastic beaches with all the water sports and activities you can imagine including the Sealife Center in Benalmádena and many other amusement park attractions. It is ideal for family holidays, due to its peaceful location.
You can also visit the lakes of El Chorro, in the hills of Malaga and even go skiing in the Sierra Nevada in less than 2 hours by car!
It is also very easy to visit Granada, Seville, Ronda, Cordoba, Gibraltar and Morocco!
We can arrange transport to and from the airport. Let us know.
Please note that, in accordance with Spanish health and safety recommendations, the jacuzzi will reach a maximum temperature of 33/34 degrees. It is not possible to have the jacuzzi at a higher temperature than this, for health and safety reasons for all our customers.

You must pay a refundable deposit of €500, which we ask to be paid by credit card. You will be refunded within 7 days of your departure. This cannot be done on the day of your departure, as many guests leave the houses/apartments on the same day. Lovely place for a relaxing holiday

My wife and I visited with our friends. We had a lovely relaxing holiday. The views from the terrace are great. We didn’t feel the need to always go out to eat - it was great to have a gas barbecue It is necessary to have a car as the area is quite hilly and most of the restaurants are a 10/15 minute drive away. We especially liked Cabopino marina and Mijas pueblo.

great views over the Med ...very comfortable accommodation and the few hiccups we encountered were fixed immediately. This is a great place to spend lazy evenings . start off drinking Cava / then time in the jacuzzi / then barbeque with a fab view. and load all the dishes into the dishwasher / Terrace is bigger than the photos suggested / as it an L shaped Terrace which had five sun beds ... having loads of space was great/ Take DVDs with you / and you have to have car as it is 4 kms to the beach... Unless you want to be within walking distance of nightlife / this is a lovely apartment / one of my guests is already looking for possible dates for 2016/ which is always a good sign /

Nice apartment with lovely view

We were met within 5 minutes of calling the caretaker by a lovely Spanish gentleman who showed us around. The apartment has 3 good sized bedrooms , 2bathrooms a very adequate kitchen and a living room. It has a very large balcony with great views and a very nice hotub. There is wifi , which works fine. If you are British bring your own dvd's or iPads as we couldn't find any English speaking channels on the tv which was really disappointing. Also I have to comment on how hard the beds are but we did eventually get used to it. The place was spotless, which is so important. There is a BBQ on the balcony which you can see from the photos, although there is a community notice on the door saying no BBQ to be used on the balcony! (We wouldn't have done this anyway) The apt is up a huge hill so you would need to have a car, and we were quite happy to see that after 8pm, you had to pass through security gates to get into the community, then you have gated private parking also. All in all I felt it was a good find and would recommend , although I felt that for the price there should have been better to i.e. Sky.

Fabulous

This was our 2nd stay at the Nueva Calahonda apartments and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The apartment is in a fabulous location, at the top of the mountain with a nice cool breeze and an AMAZING view, which we enjoyed most whilst relaxing in the hot tub sipping a cold glass of Spanish wine! The apartment itself is modern, clean and spacious with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. However our favourite thing about this apartment is the sun terrace, unlike being squashed on a balcony with a couple of chairs, this really is another living space, with 6 sun loungers, a large table & 6 chairs, the huge hot tub and the gas BBQ, there was still ample space for us all (family of 4). We loved having lazy mornings on the sun terrace before heading off to the beach or spending the day at the apartment, heading down to the pool to cool down when needed (which is great and never over crowded) and then coming back for an evening BBQ of fresh fish. I would recommend hiring a car to fully appreciate the area. The buses do run regularly along the main A7 and there are a couple of bars/restaurants half way down the mountain, however with 2 small children we didn’t even attempt the walk. Plus having the car gives you the freedom to explore a bit further, we had great days out in Gibraltar, Benalmádena , Mijas and the BioParc in Fuengirola there are some lovely local towns, La Cala & Mijas are great for meals out. The beaches are also great, with Cabopino being our favourite, I can recommend paella at Andy’s Beach bar and a stroll along the beach to watch the sunset! All in all a beautiful, spacious, luxurious apartment in a fabulous location, many thanks for another wonderful family holiday!

Definitivamente no puedo más que decir cosas positivas sobre este alojamiento, desde el recibimiento, la atención y disposición es excelente... El alojamiento súper acondicionado y tal cual como en las fotografías, bien ubicado, con parking ,jacuzzi, aire acondicionado central, todo funcionando. A 10 minutos en coche de la playa y a 5 de supermercado. Y con preciosas vistas! Lo recomiendo 100%

Amazing flat

Terraza y Jacuzzi con vistas al mar.

Hemos pasado unas bonitas vacaciones en este verano del Covid-19 ya que este apartamento te ofrece si así lo deseas la independencia y distanciamiento social que desees. Tiene una terraza super grande con un Jacuzzi en el que entran 5-6 personas sin problema. Una manguera para refrescarte si no quieres acceder al interior de la vivienda a darte una ducha. 3 tumbonas y una barbacoa de gas . Sombrilla y mesa con sillas por si deseas comer fuera. El apartamento es muy amplio y con aire acondicionado independiente por habitaciones que viene muy bien así lo regula cada uno a su gusto. Aparcamiento subterráneo para que el coche esté a la sombra con acceso directo en ascensor. Es importante disponer de coche para moverte por la zona . Hay algún restaurante cerca , a unos 15 minutos andando pero los supermercados Lidl , Mercadona , Farmacia o Mcdonals están a unos 9-10 minutos en coche. Hemos comunicado alguna mejora estética que necesita el jacuzzi exteriormente pero que para nada influye a los momentos relajantes que te da. Nosotros hemos estado muy bien y repetiremos en un futuro.

Fantastiskt lägenhet med bra läge på bergen, i balkongen finns chaccuzi och grill.

Super Trevlig personal,bra läge på bergen,chaccuzi och grillen i balkongen är underbara,rymlig lägenhet, ägaren(David) är jätte ärlig och svarar på mail väldigt fort. Vi var super nöjda under perioden vi var där.

Découverte du sud de l'Espagne

Comme chaque année, nous nous réunissons en famille (6 adultes-entre 34 et 67 ans-1 gamine (11ans). Tout d'abord il faut savoir que le penthouse correspond vraiment aux photos de l'annonce Abritel. Les photos montrent un lieu idyllique.... Il l'est ! Le site est remarquable. Le mobilier a une certaine classe, les pièces sont spacieuses, mais l'espace le plus gigantesque est la terrasse et de plus le seul vis à vis est.... La mer ! Il y a un Jacuzzi sur la terrasse (nous y avons passé de long moments à discuter pour ensuite nous rendre à la piscine privative(20 mètres à marcher) . A noter qu'un parking privé (2 voitures) est disponible. D'autre part, suite à un malentendu entre moi et mon aînée nous nous sommes retrouvés enfermés.... dehors ! Ce qui nous a permis d'eprouver la disponibilité de l'agence. Nous sommes partis faire notre excursion programmée, tout a été pris en mains et à notre retour tout était en ordre..... Tout cela exécuté de manière paisible. Concernant le rapport qualité prix, je me suis livré à un petit calcul: nous étions 7 ce qui signifie que le coût pour une semaine par capita est dérisoire .....

Appartement superbe conforme à l'annonce sur le site

Nous rentrons de Calahonda où nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances. Appartement spacieux, très calme, nous avons apprécié la grande terrasse, le barbecue, la vue sur la mer...et le jacuzzi qui est vraiment un plus. Nous avons été accueillies chaleureusement et José est très réceptif à nos besoins, nous le remercions. Nous espérons y retourner et n'hésiterons à donner votre adresse aux amis, la région est si belle !

Family of three stay at the villa.

A lovely little penthouse apartment at the top of a quiet little resort. The apartment its self is in need of a tidy up (paint etc) and could also with feeling a little more homely with flowers, particularly on the balconies. The apartment is at the top of a very steep hill with the closest bar/restaurant about 5 minute drive. We were met by a gentleman (could tell you who he was) to let us in and quickly showed us around. We hired a small car from Hellihollis and needed it! Trips to Marbella and Mijas required the use of the car and we used it every day. In all it was a lovely little holiday, however the meet and greet side lacked. We were given no welcome pack so had to make use of using messages to speak to a lady to help us get around. My only suggestion would be a decent email with proper guidance on how to get to the property. And then a welcome pack telling us about restaurants, shops, the apparentment and where places of Interest to visit. In all a solid 6/10.

Je tiens tout d’abord à remercier mes hôtes qui sont formidables. Un petit souci technique à l’arrivée qu’ils ont réglé de suite en envoyant le gardien. Je tiens à vous remercier pour l’attention que vous portez à vos locataires. La vue est sympathique. L’appartement est agréable à vivre et sera parfait quand il sera mieux équipé: l’aspirateur ne fonctionne pas, il y a trop peu d’accessoires de cuisine comme couverts et plats....En ce qui concerne la terrasse, le petit parasol ne suffit pas à se protéger du soleil, surtout qu’il y a beaucoup de vent et qu’on ne peut pas le garder ouvert. Le jacuzzi est immense et de qualité, mais il est daté et il y a une fuite d’eau qui nous oblige à le remplir matin et soir ;donc il faut ensuite attendre que l’eau remonte en température . Quand ces petits désagréments seront réglés, cet appartement sera parfait. Encore merci

Rust op een heel mooie locatie

Het appartement is heel rustig gelegen bijna boven op de heuvel slechts weinig anderen passeren het complex om naar het laatste deel van de complexen geheel boven aan de heuvel toe te gaan. Het geheel is heerlijk ruim en het uitzicht door het dal richting zee is echt geweldig. De uitrusting van het gehele appartement is echt lekker uitgebreid met als topper de heerlijk jacuzzi wat ook een lust is om 's avonds in te zitten met een geweldig verlicht dal onder je. We hebben een echte relaxweek gehad en heerlijk genoten van de rust welke deze locatie bied.

A lovely break in a great location

Lovely property in an amazing location with wonderful views and plenty of space to soak up some January sunshine. We had a relaxing stay including staying at the property some days, a skiing trip to Sierra Nevada and another trip in the other direction to Gibraltar (a hire car is a must here). The property itself is spacious and comfortable, but starting to maybe feel a little tired here and there. The WiFi dropped off after a couple of days but not a huge problem for us as our UK 3G/4G data allowance saw us through. The hot tub was lovely, but could have done with servicing mid week, we weren’t able to use it for the last two days of our one week stay. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay at the property.

Schöne, gepflegte Wohnung mit herrlichem Meerblick. Highlight ist der Jacuzzi auf dem großen Balkon, nachts zum beleuchten. Unbeschreiblich! Unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe, Auto in der Tiefgarage mit Aufzug zu erreichen . Da wir selbst gekocht/gegrillt haben hätten wir uns über etwas mehr Schüsseln in der Küche gefreut und vielleicht ein zweites Geschirrtuch 😉. Gerne empfehlen wir die Wohnung weiter

We had an ok stay here in April. Kitchen and bed are small but ok. Friendly welkome by the houseneeper. The Jacuzzi works, but the top cover and side panels are outdated and need to be replaced. Grass is growing here and there on the terrace and there was a lot of wind so you could hardly zit on the terrace. In the living there is an old, dirty sofa. The wooden front door is damaged due to heavy rain. Needs to be replaced as well. And it is not linda’s place, it is an agency that rents it. But we had a good holiday despite the bad weather.

Fantastic Views

Conveniently located just off the motorway and really easy to find. There was plenty of room in the apartment as there was only two of us. Unfortunately, the weather could have been a little kinder while we were there, but obviously that's not the fault of the owners! We were slightly later arriving than planned, but a phone call to Jose who was meeting us with the key soon sorted this out. A car is a necessity as there are no shops in the immediate vicinity and it's a the top of a VERY steep hill, so good for a cardio work out, but not for carrying the groceries! There is a large wrap round terrace and the hot tub is a great bonus - enjoy a glass of something chilled while watching the stars! The only down side is that there was not a great deal of china - I don't think that there would be enough if all bedrooms were used, but there is a dishwasher. Also some of the paintwork is looking a little tired, but overall a good experience!

A good, well equipped and spacious apartment

There was seven of us staying in this 3 bedroom apartment including an 18 month old child. There was plenty of space in the apartment and on the terrace so it wasn't cramped. The parapet wall around the terrace is quite low so constant observation of youngsters is required. This is especially so when in and accessing the Jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was excellent and we got good use of it well into night fall along with good use of the gas BBQ. The views from the terrace are suberb! The communal pool was refreshing too. The apartment is ideally located to explore the resorts of Benalmadena, Marbella & Porto Banus etc. I would recommend hiring a car when staying here as the apartment is 'away from it all' . There is good secure parking at apartment so this is really convenient. The managers, Linda and David, are excellent at prompt communication and I would recommend this apartment.

Sehr schöne Wohnung, tolle Aussicht, toller Wirlpool !

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, aber das beste ist der Balkon mit dem Wirlpool ( mit Meerblick ) und dem großen Gasgrill.
