Lovely long weekend with two teens exploring Bude and local area. Great location for beaches, hidden valley and Clovelly. Good meal at village pub and handy co-op a ten minute walk away. The chalet was very reasonably priced and had all we needed for our weekend. We would definitely book again.

Great for a short break

Nice accommodation, could do with a small bit of modernisation. Local Pizza place (Ape) doesn't deliver. Local Co-op was no more than a 10 minute walk. Overall great for location to Bude and Widemouth beaches by car. Swimming pool and Squash court in some reviews has been closed for a few years.

A place what we needed for a holiday

We were looking for a comfortable place to stay me, wife and a 3 year old. we were looking for a place where we could prepare our food, a quiet place with parking and secure. This satisfied all my needs. If I need to say what could be added, I would say a bath mat and a chopping board. also if you could fix the roller blind on the wash would complete anyones expectations. Thanks for the lovely place.

Did not sleep well

Was a great location and easy to check in. Bed was uncomfortable and only one flat pillow. A blind on the door would not go a miss as we slept with our door open because of our child next. But because of this we were woken each morning at 5am or earlier with the sun. The kitchen was tiny. Think it would be better with some TLC.

Hi Toni, thank you for your feedback on your stay. I’m sorry that you didn’t manage to sleep well. I will see to it that more pillows are provided. I have never had the issue raised about light coming in through the front door before but I will look into it to see if a blind would help this problem. I’m afraid there is nothing much I can do about the size of the kitchen but it is next on my list for upgrading so maybe a change of layout might be better. Thanks again for booking with us and for your feedback. Hayley

Hello Iris, Thank you for booking with us and for your review. I’m sorry you found the cleanliness not up to standard, I will look into this matter. In regards to the extra charge for electricity, it is clearly stated in the website description that the chalet has an electricity meter that takes £1 coins, this is a standard feature of the properties on the site. The very reasonable rental price takes this extra charge into account. Kind regards Hayley

Urlaubsreise Cornwall
