The house was in a perfect location to tour the Lake Como area. Ferry and bus is within a short walk. The house had a beautiful view of the lake with a balcony off the living and bedrooms. I would recommend this property for families.

Lake Como

Property was great and centrally located. We were able to park in front of the hotel next door and utilized the hotels restaurant for breakfast. The views from our balcony were what you go to Como for. Outstanding!

Fantastic Property

We were very pleased with the property. The location was ideal, steps from the ferry boat and less than a 5 minute walk to the central piazza. The property was clean, had wonderful views of the water and had all the amenities we needed. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Menaggio.

Casa Daniele’s location and space are unmatched! It was right next to the ferry, close to the bus station and Piazza, plus the views of the lake are phenomenal. The unit is spacious, clean, well stocked with materials, and our favorite as Americans - the air conditioning worked flawlessly in July. I would absolutely recommend this space to anyone looking to stay in Menaggio.

August 2016 We loved the property we have rented over ten years and this was the best ! Just needs another shower room! Perfect location clean and modern have no hesitation to recommend it for the future and return! Office team as always very friendly and nice We love the restaurant in la Darsena in al vellu and also barchetta in Argeno Maggie, UK

Wow. This place was amazing! The views from the two balconies and the tall windows were simply breathtaking all day and night long! The flat was spacious, airy, and had all that we needed to cook with (minus the food, and there was a small grocery store next doors, and a large one ten minutes away on foot.) The beds were SO comfortable and everything was spotless in this large apartment that housed six people perfectly. Communication with the property management was very easy and always friendly, particularly because their office was a minute away on the same road. We checked out the cost of a room at the hotel which also houses a few apartments (Casa Daniele being one of them). Do a search for Grand Hotel Menaggio and see why this huge apartment (what a pleasure to cook in the big kitchen and enjoy a meal at the big table!) is a must-stay opportunity! Really, I cannot say enough good about it. Such memories here, at a perfect location right next door to the ferry terminal, and a short walk to the town centre along a picturesque waterfront with mountains towering all around.

Tolle Lage - Agentur reagiert nicht auf Beschwerde

Toller Blick und Lage wie auf den Bildern. Die Wohnung ist aber leider sehr vernachlässigt: Sämtliche warme Bettdecken waren schmutzig (voller gelber Flecken und Rändern), trotz mehrmaliger Reklamation bei der Agentur (vor Ort, Mail, WhatsApp) gab es keine Reaktion. Es gab im Oktober keine sauberen Wolldecken, nur dünne Leintücher. Die Klobürsten waren eklig, das WC roch nach Urin. Viel Staub fand sich unter den Betten, das Sofa war speckig. Die Küche war spärlich mit Geschirr und Gläsern ausgestattet, so dass wir mit 5 Personen ständig die Spülmaschine laufen lassen mussten. Keine Geschirrtücher, kein Spülmaschinenpulver, kein Putzmittel vorhanden. Keine Anleitungen verfügbar für Heizung, Waschmaschine und Fernseher (nicht bedienbar trotz diverser Fernbedienungen). WLAN war immerhin sehr gut. Laute Klimaanlage zum Heizen stand auf dem Balkon und tropfte ins Erdgeschoss bis sich wohl der Untermieter beschwerte und der Techniker bei uns in der Wohnung stand. Unordentliche Rumpelkammer mit Liegestühlen, Kissen, …. Fazit: schade um eine ansonsten sehr grosse und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung!

July 2018 We had an amazing time at Casa Danielle in Menaggio and hope to return again in the near future. The apartment was very easy to find and the location on the lake front was absolutely breathtaking. The close proximity to shops, restaurants and the ferry point could not have been better. The apartment itself, within a gorgeous historic building, was decorated and dressed to a very high standard. Everything that we needed was provided, including a very beautiful kitchen with quality white goods and well stocked utensils. But the real show stopper for us was the view of Lake Como from the many balconies. We found ourselves longing to return to the apartment every day to enjoy the vista from our own private balconies. July 2018 Casa Daniele, has much to recommend it. Fantastic location with stunning views of Lake Como. Adjoining ( but not part of ) the Grand Hotel Menaggio, Casa Daniele provides close access to the town centre restaurants and bars, with nearby ( 10 min walk ) to secure private parking. The spacious and bright interior offers ample space to just chill or enjoy a meal with one of the best views in town! With a few simple improvements, this property would be a comfortable 5 star. A basic welcome pack would be nice - common to all other properties we stayed in on our tour of Italy. Printed instructions for the TV ( rather than available online! ) . Totally inadequate toilet provisions! Wine glasses that befit the property and and the country - there were barely two the same. All sounds rather petty I know but would just make your stay all the more wonderful. Would still highly recommend! Ian, UK

May 2017 Your instructions on how to: find the keys and then the apartment was very precise and easy to follow. We though the apartment was of: a good size and very well appointed. The views of “Lario” and the Alps absolutely stunning! Its location within the town was excellent: restaurants, bars and the Port were in easy walking distance, no hills. I have a slight disability and walking uphill can be difficult so this was perfect for me. The meeting in your office and the presentation given by Elisa, on the Saturday morning was very friendly, informative and useful. The restaurants and bars were all pleasant the staff particularly friendly. Our favourite restaurant was the “Hotel Garni Corona” the food and in particular the service was second to none! My granddaughter loved the Lido and the Mini Golf, she even took a dip in the lake, it was very cold she said so, unfortunately, I gave that pleasure a miss. All in all our experience in Menaggio was in a word Perfecto! We have recommended it to our friends and family. Many thanks and best regards Gary, UK

March 2017 My family and I just returned from almost two weeks in Italy. We rented apartments in Siena and Venice in addition to your beautiful apartment in Menaggio. There were six of us including two children ages 9 and 11. The apartment was perfectly suited for us. We loved having a full kitchen so we could eat breakfast in every morning. Also took advantage of having a washing machine. Very helpful. We took a guided boat tour on the Lake. Thank you so much for all the suggestions for making our stay enjoyable. The view from the apartment overlooking Lake Como was spectacular. We were very impressed. We also enjoyed perfect weather while there and on the rest of the trip. I would certainly recommend Happy Holiday Homes to all my friends and relatives. This was my husband’s and my fourth trip to beautiful Italy, but the first with our daughter and family.
