Million Dollar View!

We loved our stay in Menaggio. Our apartment was roomy and well-appointed, the bedrooms were comfortable, and the view of the city and lake spectacular. Sad to leave.

Apartment with great view and updated facilities

We totally loved our stay at this apartment. The view of the apartment is exceptional and location is 15’ drive to the main square. Everything was so clean. Host was kind enough to leave a welcome package with food. We highly recommend this property. The facilities at the apartment are great for kids - swimming pool with a view, balcony, laundry room.

Apartment with great views, could do with a little more maintenance

Dont get me wrong the apartment itself, location, views are great and i would recommend. It was also cleaned to a high standard. However, i felt that the maintenance could be better for what we paid. For emample, it was cold at night in April and heating did not seem to work (we did get more blankets), some shutters were broken, bulbs had gone, microwave didnt seem to work, garden was over grown, did not have keys to the bin locker etc...

Good Afternoon, We thought the property was excellent and the online photos fail to do it justice. Staff in the office were very helpful and open on a Sunday afternoon when we arrived. Boat trip was very easy to organise and a must do if you are advising others. Can’t think of any faults other than we only had a week there!

Great views and nice property

Everything was as advertised but the check in process and communication with the property manager was difficult. Several days prior to arrival I sent emails and messages in VRBO app about checking in and other logistics, but the property manager never replied. Had to call them the day of check in to get answers. The property is great. Amazing views and fun location.

Location and view are fabulous! However, the property has been seemingly neglected - upon arrival the property was filled with cobwebs and spiders throughout the apartment. Not a fun way to spend your honeymoon/vacation killing spiders. Filled with lots of odd things - no salt or pepper. No pans, only pots to cook with. No coffee table (even though this was in the listing photos). Beds resembled a hostel more than a welcoming apartment, and the bathroom drain was clearly clogged and had a bad smell. In-unit video not available so we had no instructions on how to use pool, laundry, or how to check out. Lights often flickered and didn't fully work. Couldn't take a hot shower in the evening for more than 5-10 mins. These issues need to be resolved before a guest checks in... Thankfully the property team came by to clean up the cobwebs very quickly and was very responsive but I shouldn't have people onsite fixing the property while I am staying there for my vacation. All of this was unacceptable for the high cost I spent to stay here but we thoroughly enjoyed the view, distance to town and found the apartment complex to be very nice.

Een aantal pluspunten van het appartement zijn: het fantastische uitzicht, fijne zwembad, rustige omgeving en dichtbij het centrum van Mennagio.Het appartement zelf: zeer verouderd en slecht onderhouden zowel binnen als buiten. Klachten die eerder gemeld zijn in reviews van het afgelopen jaar bleken niet te zijn opgelost of verbeterd. Voorbeeld: niet werkend screen dat ook nog eens het mooie uitzicht beperkt. Gemeld bij aankomst. Niets meegedaan! Wij kunnen ons niet aan de indruk onttrekken dat noch de eigenaar noch het verhuurbedrijf zich iets aantrekt van alle feedback. Het appartement wordt toch wel verhuurd!

This place way exceeded my expectations on every level. The apartment was amazing, large, had everything we needed and the views were spectacular. The pool was great ,very clean and at times we had it to ourselves. Great location to explore the lake and small towns.

June 2016 The listing is managed by a professional real estate firm located in the center of town. Everyone was exceptionally helpful ... whether it was to help us rent a boat for the day or take us across the lake and drop us off in Bellagio for a fantastic lunch! The apartment was amazing! Newer construction, amazing views, exceptionally clean. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The kitchen is well stocked, plenty of linens and towels, really has everything you need for a short or longer stay. We did not have any issues with the apartment. There is not a/c in the apartment, not a problem for us but just commenting. In town, there is a grocery store, produce store, wine store, and meat and fish store all on the main road. You don't need to leave Menaggio to get food or supplies. We loved our time here and would love to come back.” Christie, USA

We have had a beautiful week on Lake Como. Thank you so much HHH. Your holiday home was very stylish and comfortable for us. The location felt very exclusive and the lake views were simply breath taking! We really enjoyed the outdoor dining terrace and the shared outdoor swimming pool. We are rather impressed!

Our group had the best Lake Como getaway! The place was spotless and offered us a super sophisticated retreat. The lake view garden was a great venue for our dinner parties and we managed to find some great places too; namely La Barcola, Ristorante di Paolo, La Darsena and Crotto dei Platani. The golf at the Menaggio & Cadenabbia club was excellent and all the guys loved the power boat rental, watersports and climbing day; thanks HHH!

We would like to thank you all for making our recent holiday at Como Lake an unforgettable experience. Although it has already been our fourth stay in Sant' Andrea Vista, we will probably never get tired of the stunning view of the lake and the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood. Of course, it's not only the view that makes us come back every year, it's the variety of attractions, plentiful activities, great food and wine and last but not least the wonderful climate. This year it was boiling hot all week so we spent a lot of time just lazing by the pool or reading a book on the terrace. We also played tennis every morning at a nearby sports centre, took a boat trip to Bellagio to stroll through wonderful Villa Malzi gardens and taste delicious local wines at Enoteca Cava Turacciolo - I recommend both! By taking one of the scenic walking routes in the Val Sanagra Park along old mills and farms one evening we literally discovered new dimension of this great place on earth! And there are so many of them yet to be discovered:-).

Thank you for your email. It's a pleasure for us to give a feedback on our holiday, which we really enjoyed in the best possible way. Well, first of all, the directions and instructions we got from you were clear and simple so we had no trouble finding the office, collecting the keys and getting to the apartment. We were also grateful for the information about the places of interest, restaurants, ferry timetables, shopping, etc. that helped us a lot. We actually needed help from your staff only once when we asked for the password to the internet, which we obtained promptly. The property was great, but what was astounding - the view of the lake and the mountains. We were totally impressed! Unfortunately, I had some health problems before our arrival in Como, so I couldn't walk much. But the view, the swimming pool and the weather were absolutely amazing so we didn't regret that we couldn't have visited all the places we had intended to visit. Well, hopefully next year... The weekend at Parc Andrea was quite busy, but almost all residents left on Sunday evening, so the rest of the week was absolutely quiet and soothing. Nevertheless, there were a few places we'd been to, and again, I have to repeat myself, we were impressed. We visited Varena and Bellagio, and of course Villa Balbianello, and although we were late for the tour of the interior, the walk through the gardens needs no further comment...But still, I believe it's worth seeing from the inside as well, and that's also why we're coming back next year. (I'm not good at names) where we enjoyed a typical Italian dinner and wine in a pleasant domestic atmosphere. As for suggestions, I would just say - keep going on...Well, maybe one thing - the shower could have been cleaner, and the cover over the settee didn't look very neat and clean either. But comparing to the rest, it's negligible. We're really looking forward to coming next year and experiencing more adventures and collecting more wonderful memories. Thank you for organising the restaurants for us. We did not make it to Barcola (I telephoned and cancelled) but Gatto Nero was very good - we had a great table outside. The boat hire was a super day. The apartment was excellent - we enjoyed our stay very much. We hope to stay in the Menaggio area again and if we do we will certainly contact you. Thank you again for all your assistance.
