Excellent stay!

Our stay was excellent at this seaside cottage. Not only was the location great but it was also well appointed with everything we needed. We also appreciated that some inside lights were turned on since we were arriving at dusk! Highly recommend!

We loved this beach house. It was very clean and spacious. We especially loved the location. Just a short walk on the boardwalk and you were on the beach. It was well equipped with everything you need...even a great beach cart to transport items to the beach. We will stay here again.

Nice fall getaway!

Location of this home is perfect! Oceanfront with amazing views and a short walk to ocean on boardwalk. Kitchen was well stocked and home furnishings were nice and comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

Great Christmas

The property was perfect for our family. It was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the beach and even had a Christmas Eve bonfire (permit required). Our experience with Coastal Getaways was phenomenal.

Great Family BeachHouse

We had a group of 4 adults and 2 kids. The house was amazing and the location to the boardwalk was prefect! My family loved the area under the house where we were able to put our beach stuff and rinse off before going inside. I would definitely consider this house again!

Second Year Winter Beach Trip

We absolutely love this property! We stayed here last year with our fur babies and did a super relaxing winter trip and decided to make it tradition. The home is so wonderful, beautiful view and super close to the boardwalk. Lots of deer and neighbors and community are so friendly. So grateful we can bring our fur babies and enjoy this home every year! Thank you and can’t wait until next year!

Awesome Beach & Golf Vacation

This home was ideal for our needs as we have both avid golfers and committed Beach bums. The space was clean, the kitchen well-stocked, and the living space perfect for a family of 6 (plus a friend). The location was fantastic, sitting adjacent to the boardwalk with easy access to both Beach and a nearby pool. Just a mile and a half away were two Seabrook courses, and Kiawah offered another 5 courses just 15 minutes away. We would definitely recommend this home and its management company, which provided timely and detailed information about the area and all its amenities.

Relaxing, beautiful

We had a great time and the weather couldn't have been better. There are deer that roam on the island. They have some resturants for convenience and a grocery store that's well stocked that has anything from steaks to pizzas freshly made too. We had great views from our villa and beautiful sunsets. Our villa was great it had a screened porch and sun deck. The layout of the villa was just right all bedrooms had a bathroom. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. Great time, will be back

Beach week with dog

We had a great time. The house was nicely updated and the location couldn’t be beat! Other reviewers mentioned the long walk to the beach. This really didn’t bother us. The walk isn’t that far! We rented a beach cart to cart beach chairs and toys to and from. The screened in porch was lovely. The front deck is shady in the afternoon. Really a lovely house!

Perfect Location

The cottage was situated in a perfect location on the island. Proximity to the boardwalk made for an easy walk to the beach. The back deck allows for stunning views of the sunrise and ocean and invites one to truly relax. We sincerely thank the owners for allowing dogs, as our dog had a great time (the island is very dog friendly). Surprisingly, the cottage did not have evidence of dog smells or hair which we really appreciated. The cottage was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped with good pans, knifes, etc. for cooking. The management company was a pleasure to work with from making the initial reservation to departure. They supplied clearly written guidance and were also easily reachable by phone. Without hesitation, we would rent this cottage again and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a relaxing vacation on the beautiful island of Seabrook!

Overall nice stay but some things need correcting

The layout of the house is perfect! The location is amazing and we love every minute. The house description listed a fireplace but we were not sure if it could be used, no wood was provided and it looks like a former gas log insert. The master bath has a jacuzzi tub but the water stopper would not hold the water in the tub nor could we find a switch to start the jets. The screened in porch was wonderful but when we pulled back the sofa cushion we foun the bottom had broken out and could have been dangerous if someone sat on it. The kitchen was well outfitted. We cooked every meal and had everything we needed.

Wonderful property! So open and welcoming...truly amazing.

My wife and I, and our two fur babies, had such an excellent stay. Truly right on the beach and next to the boardwalk. Low tide is at least a 100 yard wide beach. The house is unbelievably open with an operating fireplace and an epic ceiling in the main room. Even though it was the middle of December and generally chilly, we hung out on the large deck overlooking the gorse and the ocean. Sunrises were beautiful and we sun bathed and read during the day. Collected plenty of shells and took our doggies to the adjacent dog-friendly “off-leash” area that is within a very close distance, daily. Such a good time. Money well spent. We love Seabrook Island and we love this property. Very fortunate to have found such a nice property whose owners accept guest and their four legged friends. Caleb Bottoms

Perfect house for a laid back beach vacation with great views and easy access to beach!

We enjoyed our spring break with our two teen daughters and grandmother. The house was a perfect setup for us and was well appointed. We had everything we needed. The unobstructed views from house were beautiful and it was nice to look over the myrtles to the ocean with without seeing another beach home. We loved sitting on screened porch and the sun porch listening to the waves and the birds. Some days it was too cold to be at beach so it was nice to have these spaces to enjoy the outdoors, especially for my mother, who has mobility issues and couldn’t always make it too beach. We also loved the convenient location to the boardwalk just steps from the house! The beach was big and deep allowing plenty of room for beachgoers. We had nice daily beach walks in either direction we chose to go. The house was so comfortable and allowed us to really relax and hang out. The rooms were perfect setup for our family. The kitchen had plenty of space and had a good layout. We had planned to spend more time sight-seeing in Charleston but enjoyed the house so much we all decided to chill at house instead. The nearby Freshfields shopping area was not too far away and had a good grocery store, shopping and places to eat. We also booked a sunset sail from Bohicket marina which was also close by. We would like to come back in the summer and would definitely book this house again!
