Lovely cottage

Lovely and calm cottage with great views over the heathfields and woods. Everything was fine, we had an excellent stay. Very easy communication with the owners.

We have just had a lovely holiday at Heathfield lodge. Sam the owner couldn’t do enough for us. We enjoyed it so much we have booked two weeks for next year. Had an amazing trip to Heathfield Lodge. Was very cosy and had everything we needed. Enjoyed playing the piano! Lots of DVDs there for cosy evenings. Easy to arrange with Sam how to get there.

Overall the cottage was very cosy and reasonably well equipped - but could have done with some tin foil and cling film - the open plan was not conducive to a good nights sleep if your partner snores - but the relaxer chairs were very comfortable - shame there are no pubs within walking distance.

A good base for New Forest

Excellent accommodation and every attention to detail with regard to our comfort.A good selection of books,games,DVD’s and even a piano for our entertainment on rainy days.A good base for exploring the New Forest and a lovely secluded garden for lazy days with plenty of bird life to observe.The cottage is 5 minutes drive to a couple of pubs with good food but would have preferred them to have been in walking distance.We were given a warm welcome by the owner and provided with a range of supplies such as milk,tea,coffee,biscuits etc.All in all a good restful break in a lovely cottage which would have been made perfect by being within walking distance to a pub or village.
