Excellent flat, ideal location

There were 3 adults sharing the flat and it had everything we wanted. Canico is a lovely area with plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets.

Fabulous apartment tried to rebook for next year and already booked. Loved this gated property with beautiful views and excellent facilities and comfort. Would defy anyone not to love this place.

Great apartment at a busy street

Large, spacious apartment with very good facilities and equipment. The village and the sea are still within walking distance. With rental car very good accessibility of Funchal center and Lido in only 15 minutes. Due to the proximity of the VR 1 (not to be heard) very good connection to many excursions and to the airport (10 minutes), which is also not to be heard. The only disturbing thing is the busy road below the complex, so that you can leave windows open at night only between 24:00 and 6:00. In addition, dogs in the neighborhood unfortunately make considerable noise. Who keeps the windows closed will love the apartment.

Despite our flight being delayed and a requested (and approved) check-in time of 4pm, our apartment was still not ready. The cleaners had just started and so we had to wait another hour. Since we rented a car we needed to park at the property. However, our check-in gave no indication where the garage door opener was located. We did not know we had to park before entering the gates to the property, then walk in through the walkway, then go up to the unit to grab the keys, go back down and then be able to park. The garage space is tiny so we were not able to park in there anyway as we rented an SUV. When we finally were able to access the apartment, it appeared clean and spacious just as the pictures online depicted. Beautiful views of the ocean and 2 large outdoor spaces to relax. The apartment is in a good location, close to many great dining options and far enough away from downtown Funchal for peace and quiet. The kitchen is basically equipped. We had to buy dishwasher tabs as none were supplied. Would be nice to have a refillable glass carafe for drinkable water that we could refrigerate. Also I don't think the coffee mugs are microwavable safe as when we tried to heat up milk in them the mug got hot but not the liquid. Beds were comfortable. Closets/drawers spacious. Bathroom sink was clogged but was addressed by host. Also suggested to provide more beach towels. Convenient to have washer/dryer on site. Overall a very pleasant stay. Would recommend.

Einfach fantastisch

Die Unterkunft war ein Traum! Die Ausstattung, die Räume, die Lage und die Sauberkeit einfach fantastisch. Der Blick aufs Meer wunderbar! Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten die Straße hinunter gut zu erreichen. Der Pool war ganz fantastisch. Der Strand in der Nähe ist auch schön und es gibt dort ein tolles Café. Wenn man gut schwimmen kann, kann man dort auch fantastisch im Atlantik schwimmen! Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Well equipped apartment w/ amazing view

We really enjoyed our stay in this very well equipped apartment w/ this amazing view. Also the cleaning in the middle of the week was very much appreciated. Furthermore the whole booking process was super organized. The only negative thing we will keep in mind is the noise during nights (traffic, dogs).

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung. Große Wohnung mit Top Ausstattung und einem fantastischer Blick auf den Atlantik. Einzig die zweispurige Straße war etwas laut und daher "nur" gut und nicht excellent. Wir können die Wohnung sehr gut weiterempfehlen.

Große helle Wohnung. Bestens ausgestattet.

Die Wohnung ist genauso so schön wie beschrieben. Alles hat gepasst. Leider war in der zweiten Februarhälfte das Wetter nicht so gut, aber die Wohnung und die Heizung (Klimananlage) haben uns trotzdem einen schönen Urlaub gesichert.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in Caniço

Sehr schöne moderne Wohnung mit hochwertiger Ausstattung, Meerblick, sehr sauber, sehr gute Matratzen, TV mit vielen Programmen, gute Anbindung um die Umgebung zu erkunden, Geschäfte und Restaurants in Fußnähe zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation und Abwicklung mit der Agentur/Gastgeber "An Island Apart" war sehr gut. Alles tipptopp - wir kommen gerne wieder!

Eine sehr schöne und gut eingerichtete Wohnung. Dazu kommt ein wöchentlicher Service, der ausgesprochen schnell und gut arbeitet. Man muß nur versuchen einen vereinbarten Termin zu bekommen, sonst ist die Zeitspanne zu groß. Ein ganz großes Plus gehört dem "Notfall" - ich hatte mich selbst ausgeschlossen und der Ersatzschlüssel war in kürzester Zeit Da!!! Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben gleich vor Ort eine Folgebuchung getätigt.
