Wonderful Apartment
We loved the location, about 20 minutes from Lisbon, 10 from the airport, close to grocery stores, restaurants, and all the sights at the east end of the island.The apartment design is wonderful with the kitchen eating area opening wide to the bedroom and living room decks, and with the inside window also opening wide. You can truly bring the outside in.The kitchen is extremely well equipped with lots of dishes and cutlery, pots, pans, frying pans etc. Parking is simple, just indoors in a small lot with large spaces. The apartment is very quiet at night and the bedroom shutters make for a nice dark space.The only criticisms we have of the apartment were that the bed needs a new mattress as the current one is hard and lumpy, and the kitchen pots and pans could have been cleaner.We had some challenges regarding check-in as we had to chase down instructions via phone calls a few hours before. We hadn't received check-in instructions in spite of messaging Lovely Stay as we were leaving a different apartment as instructed the day before That was frustrating and irritating as travellers without means of easy communications (our SIM cards were expiring that day!).It all worked out in the end and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would stay again and would recommend.
