Great experience!

We loved our stay at this condo. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. Very close to the slopes and downtown Banner Elk. We will definitely be back!

Perfect for our anniversary trip.

Our stay was great! The view from the balcony is pretty perfect overlooking the slopes. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed from pots and pans to wine glasses. The space is decorated super cute and feels homey and comfortable. My only complaint is, I wish some of the lights were brighter. Not a really big deal, just something I noticed. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here and I could see us staying here again in the future!

Travelin light

The condo was well kept and beautifully decorated! We are somewhat locals and have vacationed in the banner elk area several times. We frequent Beech/Sugar mountain during the snowboard/Ski season and this has to be one of the best trips due to the views and overall fall atmosphere. Sitting on the balcony drinking coffee in the morning or a glass of wine watching the sunset was absolutely heavenly. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

We loved being so close to the slopes and the view (on the days it wasn't cloudy) was beautiful. If we come back again next year we will try to stay in the same location.

This is wonderful place to visit! The condo was comfortable and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed visiting Grandfather Mountain Winery and our view of Sugar Mountain is excellent! We celebrated 28 years of marriage this weekend!

Great vacation wonderful unit!

This was a great rental unit. The owners were responsive and accomodating. This unit is decorated very well and had everything we needed. It is does not have remodeled baths or kitchen, but it still feels fresh and inviting. Thanks so much!

Nice property - current construction July 2023

Nice view with the exception of the scaffolding on the sides of the buildings. The property is in the process of being repainted and balconies sanded down to the metal for repainting. Other than the constant noise from their work, the stay was nice. Luckily, we were not at the property at all times. The area is beautiful with plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy.

New Year's Eve

We enjoyed the condo. The view from the balcony was spectacular. Loved the stocked kitchen. Very clean and comfortable. Our only problem was checking out. There was only one working elevator so I had to wait 40 min to bring our luggage down. Other than that little inconvenience we enjoyed our stay

Cute, clean, and convenient!

My husband and I went up for an adult ski getaway with another couple and we all really loved this place. It was an amazing price for an updated and very clean condo. Views of the slopes were great and the kitchen was well stocked with whatever you would need. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was there was no access to a washer/dryer in the unit. However this is a minor issue for an adult trip, but for kids and wet ski clothing it would be nice to have. Thanks for sharing your home with us, was good times!

Beautiful view

It was very clean and decorated beautifully. Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The owner was fabulous. The view from the place was absolutely breathtaking. The biggest down fall was the parking. You had to be shuttled from parking lot to the condo. They let you drive to front door to drop off luggage then back down to a parking lot. On the upside you didn't have to wait long for the shuttle. I think at most was 5 minutes. I would definitely stay again. Other than parking it would be 5 stars.

MEH - clean but dated…and HOT!

We were excited to plan a trip to somewhere new and since we were going to be traveling over July 4th we thought seeing the fireworks from our balcony would be an added benefit. The view is the best thing about this condo. For years, I have seen this building on top of Sugar and always wondered what it was like. I would advise anyone that if you like cooler sleeping conditions, do not stay here in the summer. The condo was HOT and I mean unbearable at night. So bad that we actually had to leave a day early because no one in our family could sleep. They did provide fans (2 portable fans plus ceiling fans) but the tenperature in the condo stayed at almost 76 degrees. We even had to sleep with the sliding glass door and windows open and it was still this hot. I read the reviews and looked at the amenities and did not see any mention of the unit (or building) not having AC. According to the owners it is detailed in the notes section of the amenities but I still haven’t found it. The owners did mention it in the check-in information sent the day of check-in but that did me no good because I could not cancel at that point. The lack of AC is really a big deal that should be clear in the listing before booking. I would have given 3 stars but when I messaged the owners about the situation, they offered to refund a very small portion of the price but post checkout reneged on their offer. The condo was clean but VERY dated! A little moldy in the bathrooms too. Will not go back!

Vacation with great views

Nicely decorated condo at the top of the mountain, close to Grandfather Mountain, Boone, Beach mountain, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and Blue Ridge Parkway. This was a comfortable oasis to watch the autumn colors. With two queen size beds/bedrooms and two full paths. It was perfect for our stay.

Great get away for a family with diverse tastes

My mom who is a real estate agent and has always lived in cities decided she would like to come on a few short hikes in the mountains with my small family. Needed a place that was nice to come home to for her tastes yet near the beauty of the mountains. This condo is very tastefully decorated with comfortable beds. The indoor pool facilities were so appreciated by my daughter and we all enjoyed the whirlpool after a day of hiking. Peaceful with a nice dinner area we enjoyed nightly. Easy to get to a day of fun shopping as well. If we had stayed longer we would have done some of the other local activities as well. There seemed like a lot of things to do.
