A Gem on the Quay

Great location! Had everything we needed close by. So nice to stay somewhere and have the entire space to ourselves. Would recommend.

The building where Poppies is located is like a maze. Lots of corridors and different lifts and floors, but well signposted. All on the flat which is good for a wheel chair user.It would have been nice if it had overlooked the harbour, but you could see the sea from the lounge.

Thank you for your lovely review. We're pleased to hear that you found our signage helpful and that the layout was accessible and convenient, particularly for wheelchair users. We appreciate your comments about the view. While not all of our properties overlook the harbour, we're glad you were able to enjoy the sea views from the lounge. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back again soon. - The Quay Holidays Team

Disabled friendly

Poppies at the Dolphin Quays was beautiful, very clean and well equipped, we had a few minor issues on the first day, but everything was sorted within an hour, the staff at Quay Holidays were fantastic and so helpful. The amenities were close and everything's flat making walking easier for my grandparents, I was even able to hire a wheelchair in the town centre. Beautiful rental and friendly locals mad it a fantastic week away. Can't wait to return next year.

Perfect spot on the quay

Lovely property with plenty of space. Private parking was especially wonderful for being right on the quay! Everything was easy and the price for the property was excellent. One minor request to update the shower head in the master as it didn't work well. Wasn't an issue as we just used the main bathroom for showers.

Building refacing in operation

Liked the apartment ,very clean , well equipped. The entire building was undergoing an external refacing so it was noisy & unattractive on the outside . Other than that it was good . I’ve stayed several times at this location in different apartments they’ve all been very good

Thank you for your review Lynn! We're really glad you enjoyed your stay. The block is in a great location as it is only a short walk to many local attractions. There are significant works going on to the block at the moment but these are due to finish at the end of March 2023. We hope to welcome you back again soon! - The Quay Holidays Team

Acceptable accommodation

The accommodation was acceptable. Some small issues: Wifi code was not readily accessible. Extractor fan in bathroom did not work. Boiler was noisy during the night.
