Great location

We had a great stay. The place was clean and looked just like the pictures. There were a few issues during our stay but the management company was always quick to reply and take care of our needs.

Vacation before daughter goes off to college.

Everything about the property was exactly as advertised and we loved every minute. The beach and locations of restaurants and shopping made the whole trip worthwhile. No question we will be back for more.

Home away from home!

We wanted a nice relaxing spring break and we got just that. It was very comfortable and everyone had space to enjoy themselves. The condo looked exactly as pictured. They had plenty of beach toys for the kids and I loved that there was plasticware for the kids to use for eating and drinking. My family was not ready to leave. I look forward to staying here again.

Maravilla 4404

The property is in major need of updates and a deep clean. There was a leak in the upstairs bathroom through the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom. After multiple calls and interruptions to our stay the leak stopped after they listened to my husband. We were told it was a roof leak even though there had been no rain for several days and it only did it when the shower was in use. There was sand, old food, and what looked to be dog poop or tobacco in the floor in the master suite. The property manager said they couldn’t do deep cleans on such quick turnarounds. I won’t book at Maravilla ever again. The last two years have been less than what was expected or paid for. I spend too much money for vacation and want what I pay for. I love Destin but this place can do much better.

A weekend getaway

It was a smooth experience overall. The property was clean, and well stocked (bath towels, utensils, dishes, etc). It was a very CLOSE walk to the beach! The only minor complaint that I had, was that every time the air conditioner came on, it would make a very loud noise or “bang” sound. Other than that it was a pleasant place to stay.

Our condo was great! The manager was very prompt about answering our questions. Short walk to beach and places to eat and shop. Overall we had a wonderful vacation!

Relaxing, Recharge

The property is just as described, beautifully decorated, short walk to the beach, the pool was perfect, it rained for a few hours, rambled around Austin’s on 98, close to shopping… wonderful stay!

Excellent location & great family plus dog setup

The 3 bedrooms came in perfect for our family to visit during the 2 months we stayed. The location is absolutely fabulous. Heated pool & hot tub access as well as beach made this condo so enjoyable we can't wait to stay here again.

Excellent Place to Stay

Very beautiful condo in Maravilla. Every detail taken care of. Beautifully set up and decorated so nice. We have been staying at Maravilla for 15 years and this was the nicest place. Would highly recommend.

Perfect Location

This condo was in the perfect location! Easy access to the beach and pool. Our neighbors were quiet and everyone on the property was respectful of each other. We could tell the owners tool pride in decorating the condo and we appreciated the cute touches. The mattresses were great, but the pillows are in desparate need of updating. We would have given a 5 star rating, but the pillows were really bad. They were flat, hard, and many are very stained. We actually used two of our car/camping pillows because they offered better support. We made do, but the bedding is one of the most important things for us. Also, as a heads up, bring a hair dryer if you need one!

Wonderful Stay

The condo was as described. We enjoyed our week there very much. Only three of us so plenty of room. Very comfortable beds and good bathrooms. Would definitely rate this property 5 stars. Our one complaint would be the sofa which was very uncomfortable. We definitely would recommend this property for your stay at the beach.

Okay, but not clean

We've stayed in this area each year, and always enjoy the location. This was our first year staying at this particular condo, and I doubt we'd stay there again. The condo itself is okay - comparable to other condos we've stayed in. The layout wasn't super convenient, having to walk through one "bedroom" (a loft space) to get to the other bedroom upstairs, but it worked for our family. I appreciated that there were board games and a smart TV for days when the weather was crummy. The main concern we had here was the cleanliness. After an hour of being in the condo, our bare feet were completely black from walking on the floors. The coffee maker still had coffee grounds in it from the last guest, and there was a pile of fingernail clippings on the dresser. Pretty gross. I alerted the management company, who offered to send someone to clean the floors the next day. My mother had already mopped the floors (twice, because the floors were so filthy), so we declined the offer. Considering that we're in the middle of a pandemic, I assumed the cleaning procedures would be particularly strict, but this clearly wasn't the case. I would have expected more for the price.
