We are sorry to read your (negative) review. It is really difficult for us to respond with due serenity to your complaints, as we are not used to doing so. In six years of activity we have always had very positive reviews, guests thank us for the nice time spent in the villa and often come back to visit us. Obviously we would like to inform you that the reports received have all been taken into consideration in order to always improve the service. That said, in order to clarify and without polemic, we respond point by point to the criticisms raised. As for the maintenance of the park, it will be known to you that the great drought this summer and the consequent order from the Municipality to quota irrigation, have resulted in consequent damage to the lawn. Today the situation is completely different, because after months it finally rained solving the water emergency problem. You will understand that unfortunately we have no power over atmospheric events. The problem of the child locked in the bathroom is, among all the things that are contested, the one that frankly leaves us most incredulous. We're very sorry this happened, but we don't understand how. In fact, the doors of the bathrooms do not present any problems and no guests, neither in the past, nor those who have stayed after you, have had this inconvenience. In any case, if you had notified us, we would have intervened promptly. We understand that the episode may have been unfortunate, but we do not believe it constitutes a situation of serious danger for security. Extending “the serious and general lack of security” to the whole house seems to us beyond exaggeration and even unfair. As for the showers and drains, we confirm that maintenance work had been carried out prior to your stay, so as we all know, closing the system when the water is flushed again may cause red water to leak. We then imagine that the problem was only temporary, because otherwise you would have contacted us to solve it. With regard to household appliances, we do not particularly understand what you are referring to, we believe that they are all perfectly functional. We are sorry you have not been able to fulfill your culinary passion. Often in the past and also in the weeks following your departure, renowned chefs have come to cook for our guests in the villa and none of them have ever reported any particular problems related to the functionality of the kitchen appliances. As widely described on the site, the kitchen equipment is given by: six burners, a large electric oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a Nespresso machine for coffee, a slicer, an electric kettle and a toast plate. For a holiday home it seems adequate, but if you had special needs you could have told us.
