Great views, simple accommodation that has good amenities. Sheets and linen provided would be better.One of the bedroom windows didn't close so not secure at all.The backyard is great however not totally secure for dogs, especially if they can jump a fence. The fences are only just over a meter tall. We needed to leave our dogs with friends when out as we didn't trust they wouldn't jump fence and go looking for us.

Great location

Excellent location, close to Bar Beach & the wharf & walking tracks. The option for linen would have been good. No wifi (as listed on property description). A few basics like tea & coffee would have been nice but the kitchen was fully kitted out & we could cook a few meals. Easy checkin/out. Excellent communication. Lovely hosts

Amazing house and location

The house was perfect, location was lovely and quiet. The house was clean and pristine ready for our stay. Kerry the host was very prompt with communication the whole time. 10/10 Definitely reccomend staying here, we will definitely be back!

Merimbula stay

We had a great time at the property looking around Merimbula and Eden, property was fantastic and Kerrie/Stirling were great hosts who went over and above after inadvertently leaving some luggage there. Highly recommend!

Merimbula Cottage Stay

The cottage was great. The front deck was like an additional room. We ate on the deck most evenings. For 6 adults one bathroom was not ideal. Some information regarding what day to put the bins out would have been useful. A larger tv would have been appropriate! Thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Old school NSW south coast.

Not the newest house in the street but nicely appointed and homely. Easy wall to coffee and a swim. Quite. Reasonable rate. Clean. A great place to enjoy the NSW south coast.

Great family beach house with stunning view

We loved our stay. House was perfect for a laidback family beach holiday, plenty of room for the kids to run around and great deck with a stunning view to sit and watch the sunset. Would definitely stay again.

Would stay again!

We had an amazing Christmas in Merimbula. The house was in a fantastic position, a short drive to town and only a ten minute walk to the beach. Views of the ocean from the deck and a great backyard for our dog. We would have loved to have stayed for longer, it was perfect for us! We would definitely stay again

Bright and easy

Well fenced yard enables safe play with a labrador. A large dog could jump the fence, but we did not leave the dog alone in the yard. Comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen. Bright and sunny outlook. Easy walk to Middle Beach and Long Point and the wharf/aquarium. Kangaroos graze on front the lawn in the evening.

Excellent family get away

Great communication with owners makes things so easy to get access to the property and it is a great house with everything you need. Great location and a good place to have you furry friends as well. We again will be back just really enjoying this cozy house with a great view.

Easter at Merimbula

Very comfortable, well presented and really lovely views over the bay to the south, large fenced backyard that our Border Collie enjoyed. The kitchen was well provisioned, lounge and dining room spacious and the bedrooms a good size and beds were comfortable, we would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing holiday

Short walk to sandy beach with beachfront kiosk/café. Bay views from Patio

Great location in lovely Merimbula. Closest beach where sandbar narrows inlet allows fun current you can ride from North end of beach to South in water about 1.5m deep. Patrolled till 7pm which is great for swimming after UV level drops. Short drive to dramatic rockpools on Pacific coast, you can swim/ snorkel deeper ones, very few people around, beautiful and peaceful. The house has the basics, plus hotwater outdoor shower to remove sand. Electric stove is a bit underpowered and there is no AirCon. Two of the bedrooms have French windows onto the large patio, which has a gas BBQ and great views over the bay. The backyard has a low fence larger dogs could jump easily, and my 7kg dog vanished under the house where the wooden lattice doesn’t fully block access near the rear stairs or between stair slats. From there she could have squeezed her way out on the front side of the house and reached the road (road is very quiet, OK if your dog has roadsense, mine doesn’t). I found it a bit hard going up the stairs to the side/ kitchen entrance as flyscreen door opens out towards you. Easier to access via stairs to front patio where gate at top of stairs opens away from you. About 5 steps up, with handrail on outer side, wall of house on inner side of stairs with no handrail. Managed OK, but would not recommend for anyone with significant mobility issues.

Superb location

Great house and huge fenced back garden in a superb location- with a nice view. Older style house which perfectly suited us and our 2 schnauzers. Highly recommend.

A lovely house ideal for beach holidays

This house has everything we needed to zone out and relax away from the city. All the classic coast house touches with a view looking back on the bay. Would come back.
